The arboretum is one of Barrie's hidden gems. Going out for a walk from sunrise to dusk it is guaranteed to be beautiful. Well maintained with lots of great photo opportunities. I would avoid this park after dark as it is not home to Barrie's friendliest at night.

One of my favourite places in my hometown. Particularly the trails a little farther back from the road. Nice places to sit amongst the trees and it's spacious and beautiful any time of year.

Such a great Park lots of trails I wouldn't recommend going into the trails at night and the park is really fun they've since renovated the actual playground so the kids are very happy but.

Lovely gardens here! It's a great place to bring your kids, there is an awesome playground with a mini zipline! It's also a great place to bring your dogs, there is a 2 acre fenced in leash - free dog park. Such a relaxing place, come check it out!

A beautiful hidden gem in the heart of Barrie. Great for a short hike or just a lazy walk around. Very relaxing when the trees are blooming and in full colour
