Very nice restaurant with beautiful soothing jazz for ambiance. The peanut sate soup was “believe it or not” overwhelming with peanuts. It was like spooning peanut butter out of a jar. The intense peanut flavour overwhelmed all items in the soup. The very light tasting seafood soup had perfectly cooked shrimp and octopus but unfortunately had fake crab in it. Don’t watch any YouTube videos on how it’s made. Please use real crab with the other “real” items. Service was great and again, the restaurant has a very pleasing setting.
After reading some of the more negative reviews we were sceptical but we tried it anyway and we absolutely loved it! The food came out very quickly and was hot and delicious. Even my 8 year old loves it and he’s super picky. The service and the food has been great and I would highly recommend this place to other people. We will be back.Food: 5/5
I love this place. I have been a few times, and the food and service have been great at all times. I got the ultimate style bowl with a fresh shaved coconut juice. The shrimp you can taste the charcoal feom the grill, food was so good. The service is great. They are polite and respectful and are sure to keep the water filled and che k in with the satisfaction level.
Overall solid experience. Pho was nice. Staff was nice. Service was speedy. Pricing super reasonable. There was nothing to complain about except for the chicken wings weren’t my favourite but they were fine. We also ordered the salad rolls with beef and pork to go and they were great
Called ahead for a quick to go lunch for pick up. The staff were very friendly. Took about 10 minutes to prepare as it was ready when I got there. The food was very fresh, crisp, and tasty. I had the regular sized portion of the pork spring rolls and beef satay vermicelli for $13.95. The little crispy wonton spring rolls amused me. Will be coming back, this is going to be my go to summer meal. Can't wait to try the other menu items as well!
This used to be our fave place, but the cleanliness has gone so far down hill in the restaurant I’m not sure we can go back. It is always dirty and is in desperate need of a deep clean and sanitize. We also just ordered delivery and it was awful. The meat in the soup is definitely NOT the same as they serve when you go to sit down. Our order also took 2 hours to arrive, not sure what the issue was but it’s enough for us to be done with Tini.
Do not order off Skip!! What a ripoff. For $15 you barely get anything. They need to get regular round bowls. Look at the picture. You get 4 bites of noodles and half of it is veggies and a few spring rolls. I’ve dined in many times and it’s been great with good portions but this is really really sad. Pho portion is decent. For almost $50…I ordered pho and 2 vermicelli dishes…it is not worth it!!!! This review for not for dine in but for ordering off skip.
Came here with a friend and it's definitely a hidden treasure of Seton! Totally awesome and welcoming staff, delicious food, and the staff are willing to customize menu items for you if you ask. I had the seafood noodle soup and asked them to substitute extra vegetables for the noodles and it wss great pictured! 10/10 will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: There are lots of vegetarian options on the menu! Dietary restrictions: Just ask the staff and they'll strive to accommodate you! Parking: Lots and lots of parking spots available, including handicap accessible spots close to the entrance! Kid-friendliness: There are families here all the time! Wheelchair accessibility: Smooth, ground-level entryway, low tables with removable chairs, and the sidewalk is always kept clear of snow and ice!
not sure if this place is under new management or something. used to love this place. came in for a takeout order and was told it would be about 20 mins. order took almost an hour and we watched half our order sit on the ledge for half an hour. was not even acknowledged by staff that there was an issue that was keeping our order from finishing. no acknowledgement about the delay when given our order. food was no longer hot and honestly kinda not as good as i remember it being. which is a shame because i used to order from them all the time. will not be coming back
It's hard to find any faults in my dining experience at TiNi. Service was fine and the food was delicious. I came in after the dinner rush, only 7 other tables seated. They had my order within 6 minutes and my food took another 15 minutes after that. If that's slow for you, avoid any sit down restaurant. I wanted to try two soups, so I ordered the cliche yet popular special noodle soup and the well reviewed peanut sate soup. The pho broth was rich and complex. Very different from the other options in nearby communities, but not in a bad way. If you find yourself adding hoisin and sriracha to your oho broths everywhere else, you might just find that this broth has the depth to keep you interested. A little chili oil and it was perfect. The meat portion was sufficient, although I would normally prefer for a thicker later or rare beef on top to stir in myself. Noodles had perfect chew. Even after I was full I went back for another taste, it was pretty dark good. The peanut sate is hearty. Broth thick like stew. Flavor punches you in the mouth. Like an umami bomb in your mouth. When they say peanut, they mean it. Delicious. I don't think I could eat an entire bowl of this though, it's that rich! Great portions, the thick broth allowed the rare meat to stay on top and not precook as the server walked it to my table. A small amount of greens and tomato were in the soup to cut through the thickness... And they were appreciated. After trying those two I was stuffed, no chance to try another dish. But I'll be back.
