recently visited Banh Mi Cay, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The Vietnamese lady who runs the place is a true gem. She's the heart and soul of this cozy eatery, and her beef satay sub is an absolute delight! What impressed me beyond the delicious food was the cleanliness and tidiness of the place. It's evident that she takes great pride in maintaining a spotless environment. The owner's warm and welcoming demeanor added to the charm of the place. She took the time to craft our subs to perfection, ensuring they were incredibly fresh. Speaking of freshness, the bread you get here is top-notch. I wholeheartedly recommend Banh Mi Cay. I ordered a Banh Mi Dac Biet and it was delicious and fresh. The lady at the shop was very nice and was completing a large order. Can’t wait to try the beef stew next.Food: 5/5

excellent banh mi! I tried the satay beef, and the meat was so flavourful and seasoned well. the pickled vegetables were perfectly crunchy and not too sweet, not too sure bang on how I love my Vietnamese pickles. the butter used is authentically Vietnamese and was delicious. can't wait to try one of their other subs that has pate included!!

Really good banh mi! The bread is crispy but not all air. The meat is tasty got the sate chicken had a nice sweet and spicy sauce on it. Fresh veggies can’t go wrong with this sub.Food: 5/5

This place is awesome! The food is so delicious and the family that runs it are lovely and kind. I have tried a few of their subs, spring rolls and desserts and they were all wonderful. My partner has a peanut allergy and when I shared this with them, they took extra time and care to wipe down the counters to make sure his sub wouldn't be cross-contaminated. I would really recommend stopping in and giving them a try.

Order here on a whim, now we get subs for meeting here. The peanut sauce on the subs is unreal! The flavours, everything is Sooooo FRESH!!! Amazing family restaurant so tasty. Get it once a week it's so fantastic!Food: 5/5

Love this Banh Mi place! On the more affordable end for Banh Mi in Calgary $7-$9 and the owners are so kind. We always come in and order at least 4 subs to bring home and eat.Food: 5/5

Wonderfully friendly staff. I got the Fish Cake Bàhn Mì, and it was wonderful!! Tasted like buttered crab/lobster . And the bread was really great: crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. Just as it should be. Will definitely return to try more : Recommended dishesFish Cake Sub
