Great sports park. Named after a well know Edmonton sports personality this is a well taken care of Park. It’s clean. Lots of parking. It’s principally servicing baseball games but also some football and soccer. There are washroom facilities when they are open. The park also features a walking trail that is lighted. This trail goes around a ravine that is next to the park. I would definitely recommend coming here to enjoy nature in a relaxing area.
Great park. It has several baseball diamonds as well as a football field. There is a very nice ravine with good mountain biking trails here. Some good wildlife viewing down in the actual ravine. In the winter, there are groomed cross-country ski trails suitable for different levels of difficulty. Connects to Gold Bar Park via a gravel path. Not a ton of parking, so plan in advance during busy summer nights. Playground: There are no playgrounds at this site. Dog-friendliness: This is a dogs on-leash area.
Beautiful park for fall colours. There's a gravel trail on a fairly long and steep hill for Edmonton on the north end, which I like for running hill repeats. 4 stars because there is a public bathroom, but it seems to be locked 90% of the time.
Lovely park to take a stroll around. The south loop crosses a stream. On the north end it connects to Gold Bar park. We’ve seen it most busy in the winter when people are cross country skiing. Otherwise this is where we take our reactive dog to decompress regularly.
Amazing Park, Beautiful lots of paths. Squirrels are amazing. It's the best Park in Edmonton AB.
Premium slowpitch diamond, very clean, well maintained with bright lights for late games. Lots of parking, bleachers and a bathroom. Restrooms: Changing room with a sink and toilet. Dog-friendliness: People bring their pets to games. I’ve never seen anyone leave their dog poop. Everyone cleans up after themselves.
I walked the trails it's a really nice place peacefull
Parking was tough with both baseball and soccer going on. Fields are good but mosquitos were atrocious Dog friendly
Goldstick park, and the built in ravine are perfect for dog walks, bike rides, and exploration. Park just off baseline/101ave and walk down or start in Gold bar and walk up. Lots of trails which double as crosscountry ski trails in winter. Can be muddy after a rain, and uneven terrain makes for a challenging and relaxing walk. Often quite quiet down on the trail. Bring bug spray in summer for sure!
This is one of my favorite parks in the city but the city of Edmonton doesn't take very good care of it. No garbage cans or trail maintenance.
