I absolutely love Goldbar. Irs usually my start then I go to wayne Gretzky. GB features some of thee best MNtBike trails if you don't mind the smell aha. Dogs can be off leash but I also take mine on... when people drive here they SHOULD SLOW DOWN seriously be respectful of life!
Visit: May 2023 Great park to visit. Lot sof green space, and connects to a lot of other parks such as Capilano Park and Rundle Park. There's a lot of green space, and a very nice Trail that runs by the river. It has a beautiful canopy of trees. There's also a spot that has dedicated washrooms which is nice. Restrooms: Dedicated washroom area Dog-friendliness: There are off-leash areas Picnic area: Lots of open space and there are benches as well for a picnic
Peace walk. Finding the spring, some swings and shelter. Beautiful November weather.
Great off leash area. Lots of river access and a solid stretch of trail on the north side. It runs along the golf course but there is a chain link fence that keeps it separate. Very nice and thick forested areas with lots of room for dogs to run around and play.
It was a magical hike in winter wonderland throughout the park. Trails where well kept , the scenery was magnificent.Highly recommended!
Was so good walking, and so cool watching for the first time for me a Canadian beaver building something. But was so sad to see the majority of the ponds dry and no big playground like I heard and now they are building a big parking instead. Good for hiking, biking and Frisbee.
Awesome park to have a cookout or picnic. Lots of tables and spots for large groups
Awesome Park for a walk/hike, beautiful scenery only downside is that it's beside a water treatment facility so it can have a smell at certain points otherwise it's awesome here.
What a park. Great views. Calm scenery of a river. Best for cycling and small picnic parties.
The bridge has a gorgeous view of the river and the city. Also they had various trails around there to enjoy. I went down the river side trail, and it was a spectacular view where you could hear the rushing of the water and tons of wildlife. It has become an area I go to often for walks with my family.
