Fantastic field trip for a day, very affordable and fun. There is lots to see and do here, the programs are really well run and the staff are definitely into their roles.

We learned so much in the tour of MacKenzie House. The kids had fun work in the printing press and doing typesetting.

The house is very helpful to understand both the history of the Mackenzie family as well as the living situation of a typical middle class family at the time. The guides were very knowledgeable about all aspects of the house, its inhabitants and the surrounding history and it was clear that they are passionate about teaching all visitors as much as possible.
