I bought the membership pass on online and I think it’s probably one of the best investments I’ve made in the year.nnI love being at AGO because of the different pieces of artwork and interesting things. I get to see every time I’m here.nnThe gift shop is pretty cool as well and there are lots of interesting things that you can buy after visiting the museum
A fantastic display of arts, sculptures, and modern cultural moments. It's big and it felt almost as big as the ROM - and obviously you need multiple visits to fully appreciate the collection. Excellent place to spend a weekend - they have a cafe inside and their restaurant was also nice. I'll get the annual membership and visit more.
Toronto Art Gallery is an absolute gem, deserving of its 5/5 rating. From the moment you walk through its doors, you’re immersed in a stunning blend of contemporary and classic art. The curation is impeccable, showcasing a diverse range of local and international artists that cater to both seasoned art enthusiasts and casual visitors.nnThe layout is spacious and inviting, making it easy to navigate and enjoy the exhibits at your own pace. Staff members are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely passionate about the art they’re presenting.nnThe gallery also goes above and beyond by hosting engaging events, workshops, and artist talks that make the experience interactive and educational. Whether you’re looking for inspiration, a cultural outing, or a quiet place to reflect, Toronto Art Gallery is a must-visit destination. A true celebration of creativity and expression in the heart of the city!
Very rich in history this place is,nAbsolutely adore the absolutely stunning paintings and pieces by various artists.nnThere is something very unique and profound about stepping into a museum that nothing else quite invokes, I’m sure others feel the same.nnI’d recommend buying a glass of wine or two from as refreshments from the bar located inside fhe museum, knock em’ back and venture forth into the beauty of days past.
Daily pass is $30, annual pass is $40. Even though I wanted to go just for a day, I opted for the annual cause its a great deal. Really glad I did because the museum was beautiful and lots of things to see. As someone with little experience with art, I learned quite a lot from the pieces and exhibits. I'm definitely going to visit at least one more time this year.
