Thomson Family Park

The foundation wasn't on yet, but I'm giving it 5 stars as I can imagine what it's like with it on. Hopefully we can go back with the rear element before we leave town. Lots of spinning elements in the playpark. This park has great picnic tables, a site by the fountain to sit on, grass, and a lawn bowling pitch. This is a great upgrade from what used to be there. Well done Calgary!

Great place for kids. Amazing sensory structured park. Little water fountains to play in, in the summer.

We are grateful to have more and more family parks in the Beltline. This one has a good variety of activities for older kids and we quite enjoyed ice skating there in the winter. The slide is very tall and fast and there isn't a lot of fencing available, so this IS a park for children age 8+ in my opinion

There's not a lot to keep kids entertained. For some reason they planted trees in the middle of the sidewalk.

It's a great new park for kids of all ages. The only reason I'm rating this a 3 is because there is no fence to protect the kids from the adjacent street. It doesn't make sense to me. Pros Has a cool slide Unique play features The old lights from the former lawn bowling club are a nice touch Cons No fence
