The Thirsty Moose Pub and Eatery is located on 20 Bridge Street, right in the heart of downtown Carleton Place.

Our menu offers a variety of salads, pub fare, pastas, and specialty items.

In addition to daily lunch specials, our nightly features include:

The Thirsty Moose offers live entertainment, multiple HDTV's, with an upstairs atmosphere featuring a pool table, juke box, and dance floor.

Went for the first time and had a great experience. We had Rachel as our server and she was absolutely amazing. I got the Caesar chicken wrap based on recommendation and it was delicious! We will be back for sure.
Definitely a great place to eat. The food is delicious - better than your typical pub food. The bread for sandwiches and whatnot is from the bakery next door so it is so fresh and delicious if you love carbs like I do. Food was ready quickly and came out hot. Even just the side garden salad was good - nice fresh, crisp veggies and tons of options for dressings. Free soft drink refills. The person who served our table was very friendly and helpful. Nothing bad to say about this place. Would definitely return and highly recommend it.
So every time we go to carlton place, we always have to make sure that we stopping at the thirsty moose. It's like tradition because of the moose crossing nachos, which are not really nachos, they're waffle fries with nacho cheese and they're absolutely divine. Also, we really enjoy the fact that we can get really crispy wing, super nicely seasoned salt and pepper pur favourite, and for a pound you get a lot of wings. We also get a salad greek to share you know to be healthy that too doesn't disappoint. Staff are fast and efficient. Food is well priced and portion sizes are large. See you soon thirsty moose!
First time visiting while passing through. We were able to grab a nice spot on the patio and our server wish I had her name was super friendly and did a great job waiting on us. She made great recommendations for the menu and was so delightful to interact with. I would definitely return for both the food and service. If I could make one suggestion at all, perhaps more options for craft beer since I’m a HUGE fan ;
Huge portion sizes. Biggest Clubhouse we've had in this town! They have an amazing Terayaki Mayo that I'd highly recomend.nDelicious thick gravy. Cheese curds on poutine. Real thick bacon. Grilled chicken breast was done great.nnWe had The ClubHouse Sandwhich and Poutine. It fed two of us. We still have half a sandwich each for later!nnGreat food. Deffidently recomend while in town!
