Amazing breakfast and lunch find in Carleton Place! We went for breakfast on our first day in CP and ordered the Local French Toast and the Savoury Breakfast Toast. The food was delicious and the service perfectly delightful thank you Sarah. We enjoyed it so much we decided to go back the next morning and try the other items we were deciding between. Day 2 we had the huevos ranchero and the special eggs Benedict with “short ribs” - more deliciousness. Our experience was topped off with great coffee and freshly squeezed OJ. The staff were extremely friendly and eager to ensure everything was to the highest standards, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We can’t wait for our next visit.

My wife and I have eaten at Freska a few times now and I have realized that every time, it's been an excellent experience. Time for a review! On this visit Sarah greeted and waited on us as well. What a lovely ray of sunshine she is! We ordered Beef Benny and as we have learned, we asked them for an extra plate as one order is enough for both of us. But first, a lovely tasting coffee! When our food showed up, it had been separated on to two plates and beautifully presented. What a lovely touch! The food was hot and delicious, likely the best Beef Benny I've ever had. The Hollandaise sauce was fresh and had the perfect consistency. The seasoning on the potatoes was also mouth-watering perfect.nDining at Freska is such a great experience in every way; the staff both wait and kitchen are positive and work as a team. The food is original, very flavorful, fresh and presented with a little panache, very attractively. With such care given to the staff and food, it follows that the atmosphere falls into the same. You feel welcome, appreciated and cared for. The atmosphere is bright, friendly and very comfortable.nDon't miss an opportunity to experience this gem in Carleton Place!
