Lakeside Shawarma & Souvlaki

I used to love this business, and their food. Over the years their attitude towards me and their food has changed. Convinced I had done something wrong, I thought if I send my partner in to order they might have better luck. They came back to the car saying they weren’t treated the best either, and our food was made wrong when we got home. I love to support small business in my town, but this place isn’t worth it to me anymore.

If you want mid grade shawarma and a horrible customer service experience this is the place for you. Ordered my meal 50 minutes in advance, was told pickup at 6. Showed up 15 minutes early and by the time I left every person that was in line when I walked in had left. Why even order for pickup... Even watched another pickup order that showed up after me have his food given to the wrong person, however he got his food remade and still left before me. I understand servicing the customers that are waiting in line but having someone wait in your store for almost 30 minutes just because they ordered on the phone is unacceptable...

Great quality, pickled cabbage is a bonus, fantastic grape leaf rice. Would have given 5 stars but variety was a little weak. Definitely recommend and go back

Haven't gotten to go in about a year, but as amazing as I remember being the best lunch break while on shift in CP Best potatoes of ANY shawarma place, my personally favourite homemade spicy garlic, and very friendly service to the medics when we were in Definitely a must go.

We were passing through Carlton Place and stopped for lunch. Food is amazing and service even beer. Sandwich with Potatoes and drink was our choice for the first time. Brothers thread us as a family, what else can you wish for. Can wait go back and try their salad.
