The World Famous Iron Horse Saloon

Keeping it real... Sandy, the owner is absolutely amazing, she has history, knowledge, is accommodating and made my night with her stories of owning Fagans (among other places) on the east bank of the Flats. She has a really sweet, cool and friendly dog that wants nothing more than his belly rubbed to give you his undivided attention. The bar was dead on a Wednesday night (11pm) and they were finishing up a pool league, do there were 3-4 patrons that didn't receive me as anything more than a minor inconvenience when pointing out the bar. All things considered... This place has the potential to be a really good time on a Friday/Saturday night. They do several events to attract a crowed on any given night like bike night, pool league and more. There I a kayak and canoe rental option when the weather permits. This was my first time there and I am certainly coming back... At which point I may change my 4 stars to 5.

I love the atmosphere and the service. The walls are able to open and make you feel like you are outside. I particularly enjoyed the little chi running around. 💓 I give them four stars because they made several mistakes on our Orders. We did have a large table so its easy to make a mistake.

Will Not be going back there again. Service was terrible. Food was average and half of our groups orders were not even cooked properly 2 plates had to be remade.. Sat at an indoor table 5 ft from the bar. Took 20min before a server looked at us. I gave up and went to bar to order drinks. Was greeted by someone that didn't obviously like her job let alone don't think she could even count. She was extremely rude and looked a bit strung out. The place had gone downhill on your trip to visit the restroom you gotta check out the front rooms where it seems to be some zoo animals living quarters. It's quite the attraction!

Recently stopped in to the iron horse saloon and my entire experience was amazing! Great staff, amazing atmosphere and they even rent canoes and kayaks! My girlfriend and I had the ribs and walleye... Hands down the best meal I've ever had. The presentation was great and the only thing better was the food itself. Highly recommend everyone passing on 422 should stop in and get an experience unlike ant other!

Always bad service, and high prices. I can get a domestic beer cheaper in downtown Chagrin Falls. Would have given one star, but the second one is for the bartender Sasha I met last night. The only nice bartender I've met there, ever.
