Since November 1, 2013, Auburn's local pizza place has gotten a dose of local from the Sirna Family who grows their own produce just two miles South down the road on St. Rt. 44/ Ravenna Road. The Sirna Family has taken over the local pizza joint, and implementing local ingredients, as the new "Sirna's Pizzeria"
If you know the Sirna Family, you know they’re into local. Their farm and store stocks only Ohio Products. Sirna’s Pizza, owned by Localicious, LLC hopes to continue a similar suite. Craig Sirna's favorite pizza is the meat lover which is homemade dough, homemade sauce, local cheeses, premium old-style cut pepperoni, homemade Sirna's Italian Sausage, and Sirna's Farm's Nitrate Free Bacon.
This pizza and others were competed with in The Cleveland Plain Dealer Pizza Challenge, Ohio Pizza Expo and International Pizza Expo Las Vegas. The Sirna's placed in the top 25 for the nation and world, and received BEST IN GEAUGA/LAKE COUNTY. Our famous, "White Garden" Pizza also received honorable mention in the Cleveland Plain Dealer by the judges!
The Sirna's are cooking up a storm, with a small but growing menu. A monthly Pizza Of the Month, featuring what's in season and specials as the growing season allows.
Frequent runs are made between Sirna's Farm and Sirna's Pizza. The produce, meats and more are made, gathered and picked and delivered daily to the pizza shop-- for premium, fresh and local. From our farm, to your table.
