While our server was friendly as was the hostess, but the atmosphere and food wasn't at all what we expected at all. My fiance's coleslaw tasted sour and not at all a hint of sweetness and was awfully dry to the pallet as it was as if there was no dressing on it at all except for vinegar, my salad was not to be desired for, very skimpy and the croutons were so stale they were too hard to chew so had to push them aside. I ordered the Salmon with Apricot Glaze, and I've had this at other places and there was a bit more glaze at the other places, this place it was just a smear which the glaze is used to take the strong taste of the salmon away, plus it was cold as was the steamed broccoli! My fiance ordered the Fried Pollock, which was cold and the fries and his and my entire meal was as if they were all just heated through in the microwave on the plate and served because if it were totally cooked properly, it should've been hot when brought out to our table, but not even a bit of steam came from our plates at all, which is a big thing for us and should be for everyone, as it a health concern as it should be hot not cold, and ours wasn't even lukewarm. His french fries were as if they'd been heated in the microwave as well as they weren't even the slightest bit crunchy and the rolls were dry and lacking of flavor. Our overall experience was a train-wreck except for the waitress. We should've went with our always thought, the fewer the vehicles in the parking lot as well as overhearing an elderly couple also not being too impressed, just to stay away and we will!!!

Food was good home style cooked. Ordered an appetizer but then our dinners came out about a minute later. Never did get our dinner rolls... Wonder if they were home made.

Very Reasonable. Really good food. Be prepared to take home leftovers. Heck to adults could share entrees.

A bizarre visit...we waited FOREVER to be seated for lunch despite a half-full dining room.. The lady working the cash register was on the phone with a customer asking questions about renting a room for an event. Three parties stood there...nobody from her team would help her. Finally, we got seated at the third table from the front door. We NEVER got waited on. There were three different servers who serviced tables around us...including the party before, and after us while waiting to be seated. We sat, and sat...nothing. I went to the bathroom and found it to be disgusting. Smells like sewer. The chrome fixtures were corroded and nasty. Gross. I went back to my table and still no server came to visit. We were embarrassed and decided to leave. We got up, walked right past the cash register where the hostess and some other lady were gabbing. We left. No one tried to stop us or even noticed we were there trying to spend our money in their poor establishment. We drove down the road to Mary Yoder's where we had a wonderful St Patrick's day lunch. I told our story to the elderly couple sitting next to us and they said they hear stories like ours all the time about Dutch Country. They don't go there anymore. We won't either.

Inexpensive tasty food. Good service. Even have early bird specials. Prime rib, even.
