El Patron Mexican Grill - Middlefield Ohio

Normally I love this place, but I got to go tonight for the first time and was thoroughly unimpressed with the gentleman that checked me out. I ordered two cheese dips, and when I looked at my order there was only one bag of chips. I asked the waiter for a bag of chips for each of my cheese dips and he told me there was only one bag of chips allowed per order. I ordered two appetizers that require chips?!? Am I just supposed to drink the cheese? When I told him I had two cheese dips he said he could charge me $2.50 for another bag of chips. At this point I was done asking for what should have been given to me and said no thanks and left. Pretty chintzy for a place that allows you to eat unlimited chips when you done in. And I know my parents have received more than one bag of chips without even ordering appetizers that need them. Have they been adding to my parents bill without them knowing, or was this server just in a bad mood power trip? SMH

We used this El Patron to cater our company Christmas party of about 30 people. They took care of everything (i.e. Appetizers, food and toppings). IT WAS FANTASTIC! I think everybody commented about how good the food was and there was PLENTY of it. I felt like it made the party. Thanks so much!

I only gave this 0lace a 1, Id give it a big fat 0!!!! My plate was sypen hot, ny food cold as fk. Pepsi tasted waterdown, Im from Cali, I expect better for tge outrageous price. I got chicken abdoblo, all they did was give me stail ass fries n microwaved vegies. 🤤

Sunday, approximately 2pm. Ordered the enchiladas supremas, my boyfriend got the fajita burrito. Our food came out VERY fast. Mine was just warm, I wish it was hot when it came out. Flavors seemed a little bland. My boyfriend's burrito was HUGE for the price, came with a lot of vegetables and a very little bit of steak. Waiter was nice and keep our drinks filled

Well I've been here before and it was OK but to day I showed up with two other people and when I went to sit down the sits at the booth were filthy, the hostess said sorry but when we wipe the table off we sweep it on top the seats. REALLY so you want customers to sit on dirty seats ..The service didn't seem like they really cared about anything and in fact it seemed like we were bothering them by coming in to eat.. We ordered a wide variety of foods and they all has ONE thing in common the FOOD WAS LUKE WARM and NOT HOT at all the beans were YUCKY the rice was OLD, DRY and COLD the food was NOT very good at all. . The Riesling wine tasted like cheap old no sweet puke water, and that's being nice! I've eaten a lot of Mexican around the country and this place will soon be out of business the way it serves its customers COLD food and POOR quality food, There steak for the fajita tasted like shredded liver.... Not very good at all! I will NOT be going back and if you like Mexican food then you DO NOT want to go here cause this is nothing but GARBAGE !
