Spur of the moment, dropped in for dinner not really knowing what to expect. Nice, bright and spacious interior, the food smelled amazing and thankfully, when our dishes came, they didn’t disappoint. Taste of my C-7 dish pork chops with egg was beyond expectations, generous portions and worth the $18 price tag. My wife ordered C-2 Lemon grass chicken for $17 which was good, but i preferred my pork chops. Friendly and quick service, the line up started just as we were finishing up. Best to get there early.
One of the best Pho places in Vancouver. Everything here is always super fresh and flavourful, all the classics are winners here so whatever you're feeling will hit the spot. I haven't had anything better in Burnaby and I've never been disappointed by a meal here, and any complaints I can think of are pretty minor. Be prepared to wait though, lines of 30 minutes to an hour are pretty common.
The food was AMAZING! This picture is actually a giant bowl not a plate with vermicelli at the bottom of the protein. They are very generous with their portions and servings. I usually direct people to try this place if they have a craving for good Vietnamese food. The only downside is that it is always so busy and tough to get a spot. There is usually a line up.
We have been here several times while in the area because there aren’t too many Vietnamese restaurants to choose from. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the price was average, service was okay too. One problem we found was the wait time for food. Whether the restaurant is full or only just a few tables, our food has always taken longer than 20 mins to arrive. I think there are just way too many take out orders and they are prioritizing those judging by what was coming out of the kitchen. Bags after bags of takeout orders were just sitting on the table ready to be picked up while people in the dining room were patiently waiting. I hope they can improve the waiting times .
@the.viet.noodle.guy ft lemongrass chicken and Viet noodle special rare beef, beef balls, beef brisket, tripe, tendon, onions, green onions and cilantro Every single time we passed by, we saw a line outside of this restaurant so we decided to check it out. Their food was probably on the lighter side relatively in terms of taste. It was good but a little different from the pho/lemongrass chicken I’m used to. Almost tasted “healthier”. This place was definitely busy and the portion was huge! Their large was more than enough for two people. I can see why so many locals order takeouts from here.
We came here just before noon on a weekend and there was already a line-up. Luckily you don’t have to wait too long as the turnover is quick. If you have a party more than 4 people, expect to wait longer. The place is friendly & inviting with limited dine-in seating. They offer a good selection of noodle dishes which we had a spring roll, a small order of the tender beef noodle & a large order of the seafood noodle. I highly recommend you pay just $1 extra to have leftovers for lunch or dinner. For the non-meat eaters, they had a tofu noodle dish but it was in beef broth & the Viet Sub Banh Mi with tofu.. We shared an order of the deep fried spring roll which worked to be 2 pieces each for $5.25. It was rather tasty & tasted like it was homemade, packed with tasty pork meat. Their subs looked tasty. They are mindful when it came to food allergies. You are to advise them if you are allergic to nuts. All the large noodle dishes were under $20. There’s free underground parking below or across the street in the Save On Foods parkade.
Came at night alone and trilled with the portion. This bowl could be for 2-3 person. I could eat only 1/4 then I called my girlfriend that was shopping nearby to help me finish the bowl lol. It’s yummy, not surprisingly the restaurant is always full house. It’s about $17-18 for my bowl which is reasonable for the size. Only one problem is that my girlfriend doesn’t like noodle so I just hope they have a half bowl with lower price like $12-13. If that’s possible, I would go there very often. Service was decent. A staff came to check what I need.
This place is absolutely bomb.com. Our family comes here when we want to have really good pho and Vietnamese food but have to prepare our bellies to wait an hour in line to eat. Portions are great. Food is fresh.
Good legit pho tasting much authentic. The springrolls are also very crunchy it's a delight. The portion can be big for Asians. I ordered a large pho and it was very filling! The only thing i feel that can enhance taste is good slices of really spicy chilli
I've driven by this place so many times and there is always a line outside. I'm lucky we came just before the dinner rush and I can confirm this place lives up to the hype. In the Vancouver area this place has the best Pho . Even the vermicelli bowl had flavour rich grilled meat and spring roll. I came back for lunch another time. I'll definitely dine here again. If you want to avoid waiting outside in the line I suggest coming before peak lunch and dinner times to secure a table.
