Had the beef banh mi combo here. Easily one of the best sandwiches I've had. The bread was very fresh and they did not skimp on the the beef. The spring roll and coffee were both tasty as well.

Very good Vietnamese subs with a vast variety of flavours to choose from. I like the cold cut one and the bun and stuffing were all fresh. Would be even better with more cucumber and pickled vegetables inside than the portion given.

I liked most of the banh mi here. If i have to choose one that I liked the most, It will be the beef sate and pork lemongrass. The passion lemonade was a good combination with the sandwiches.

I’m glad we went here instead of driving all the way to Vancouver as we live at Metrotown. The banh mi was perfectly toasted had a nice crunch but soft insides. The fillings were delicious and I can’t wait to try their other menu items. Their Cafe Sua Da was also very delicious and not too sweet. This is our new go to spot for banh mi especially in Burnaby, will be back again. ** thanks for the reply! I do suggest cutting the jalapeños length wise to have a piece in every bite instead of cutting it round.

Great banh mi! The deluxe classic cold cut flavour was my favourite not in images. The Sate Beef flavour is also good. The salad roll is not really worth it tho imo.

If you are a banh mi lover, you will definitely love Obanhmi. I absolutely loved it from my very first bite back in April, and I have been back there many times since! I have tried A LOT of their banh mi's, including Lemongrass Chicken, Saté Beef, Deluxe Cold Cut, Vietnamese Xiu Mai, Halal Chicken, and Honey Garlic Chicken. I really loved them all, but my ultimate favourite is their Deluxe Cold Cut - I would say that I've ordered that the most! I also must say that these sandwiches seem bigger to me vs other banh mi shops big bonus! Each sandwich has it own unique deliciousness and all loaded with quality, housemade ingredients... Everything blends so well together. The baguettes are also perfectly baked! Seriously, I have nothing but good things to say about Obanhmi. It has instantly become one of my top spots for banh mi!

The sandwiches here are amazing! I love the halal chicken sandwich, it’s so delicious, spicy and flavourful. Also, the service here is always top notch. Joseph , is always so attentive, polite and goes that extra mile. My family and I will go nowhere else for our quick and delicious lunches. Thanks Joseph, you are exceptional!

Family ordered Banhmi for lunch today. Tried out the deluxe cold cut - I loved how the taste of pate, cold cut, cilantro & jalapeño all come together! Took a bite of my hubby’s Sate beef, a hint of sweetness with some lemongrass flavour!! Pretty addicting flavour!!! Banhmis are massive, I don’t even have a small appetite but I couldn’t finish the whole sub, will be saving this for tomorrow’s lunch! Think all sandwiches come with jalapeño by default, make sure you let them know if you can’t stand the heat.

I ordered through Uber Eat.Our sandwiches so perfectly crunchy on the outside with super fresh ingredients. Really great value and Will be returning soon.

Newest location in Burnaby with plenty of parking at the back. It’s quite hidden from the front behind a bush, so if you’re driving, I’d recommend parking at the back as it’s a busy street Kingsway at the front. They already have several locations, but this was my first time trying them. Simple and clean interior with 2 friendly staff when I arrived in the morning to pick up my order. There was a line up Saturday morning, so I would definitely recommend ordering ahead if you have a larger order and don’t want to wait. I ordered online through their website they also have a point system, 10 points = 1 free banh mi the night prior, and set the pickup for 10:15am on a Saturday. I was very impressed by how easy it was to order online, and how accurate the pickup time was - I also received an email update at ~10am notifying me that my order was ready. My order: Lemongrass Chicken: one of my favourites - tender and juicy chicken with pickled vegi’s on a soft bun chewy outside. Deluxe Cold Cut: classic banh mi, with several layers of Vietnamese ham & creamy mayo. This one does not come with pickled vegis, but it’s still one of my top picks. Honey Garlic Chicken: unfortunately, I couldn’t really tell the difference between this and the lemongrass chicken, but it was still good. Sate Beef: Pieces of marinated beef, subtly on the sweet side. Sort of reminds me of Soo Jerky, but it wasn’t dry. Vietnamese Coffee bottle & cup: strong, smooth and delicious. I preferred the bottle as I could save it for later I mixed it with regular coffee the next day. The cup is ~$1 cheaper, and comes with ice, which waters down the taste if I don’t drink it fast enough. Mango Smoothie: fruity and sweet, blended smoothly Overall, I’d highly recommend the lemongrass chicken, cold cut and Vietnamese coffee. Super fast & easy to order online and reasonable prices too.
