All I can say about this pick me up place is that it exudes the fresh aroma of baked bread and the display of pastries are amazing. You might want to get there early as the lineups for this place especially on the weekend can be long. I ordered 5 leak and cheese lattice pastries which was delicious and 1 almond croissant, although didn't have much almond filling but was sweet. They do have a promotion which is buy 6 get the 7th free.
Those are one of my favorites! Almond and butter chocolate croissants, It's taste so good and it always bake fresh...
This bakery is my favorite in the St Lawrence market. All of their breads have been absolutely delicious and fully leveled up our at home sandwich game. $5 for a loaf feels expensive but the sourdough really is to die for. They sell out quickly so if you want your pick of the litter I recommend going in early
Amazing product!!! Congratulations on your new paper based bread tab vs the traditional decades old plastic tabs. Truly an environmental game changer! Also you’re ingredients are top quality & “NO Canola” Well done Stonemill.
Had the multigrain croissant and my friend had cheese croissant and chocolate au pain! All were amazing and worth the wait. We shared soft pretzel and that was nothing special.
As I walked into St Lawrence market, this place drew me in with the sweet smell of freshly baked goods. The huge display of danishes and croissants attracted me like a magnet. Before I knew, I purchased a box full of them and devoured a few in no time at all. Their almond croissants are the best so flaky yet tender at the same time. The amount of sweetness was just right. The others like chocolate croissants and maple pecan were good as well. Stop by if you are in the neighbourhood!
Always enjoy these pastries. Can never have enough. Worth going early in the morning for.
Almond crossiont is used to be my favorite. I will wake up early and line up for one. I assumed it is ingredients cost, the quality is reduced. Please bring back the original, buttery and real almond paste. I am willing to pay a bit more.
Best croissant I've ever had! Everything looks so delicious
We've come here twice and loved it both times. We like the double chocolate butter croissant. It’s always freshly baked and delicious. There’s a long line every weekend we've come here which shows how popular this place is it moves pretty quickly. They only accept debit cards and cash. Do check out their beards but I didn’t think the sourdough was really great but their croissants & dinner rolls are pretty great and reasonable. It will be my go to place when I'm craving for a yummy chocolate croissant. And really charming that it's nice in the St. Lawrence market which makes for a wonderful experience.
