We absolutely loved their black sesame cake! The cake was super fluffy and it wasn’t too sweet! My family really enjoyed it : Additionally, while some say the location is quite hidden, we didn’t have trouble finding the store at all! We followed google maps and was quickly able to locate the store because of their large white sign. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Manzou Bakery is one of the cutest bakeries around! Their cakes and cake cups are so cute and very flavourful, with just enough sweetness that doesn't overpower the palate. I strongly recommend their black sesame, as the flavour is very strong and pronounced, unlike other patisseries and bakeries. Definitely a hidden gem!

Ordered a cake a while back and wanted to try manzou for so long!And so worth the wait too! The strawberry cake was so beautifully presented with rosettes all over and the cream was light, airy and super smooth! And not too sweet either! They were definitely parent approved for that alone too! Also had the 9 cake cups to try all the other flavours and every single one of them did. It disappoint! Service was great! Ordered the cake online and no issues on picking up. Everything processed properly and efficiently! They also made the recommendations on how to store until being consumed, which is usually a given but always a nice touch! Definitely recommend them for your next celebration! absolutely delicious!! ordered a chocolate mousse cake for valentine’s day, was light and fluffy and not too sweet my preference the cake also looks so cute arrived perfect but I accidentally touched it before taking the photo will definitely be coming back to try their other cakes soon!! highly recommend :

My family & I love Manzou Bakery! Found out about them back in March & have been ordering their cakes for every birthday in the family. Soft, light & not too sweet which for my family is a GREAT thing Thank you for making such delicious cakes & being apart of our family celebrations. Really great Asian bakery with a variety of flavors to choose from. It's a pick up place only but just needs 24 hours in advance for a full cake. I got the holiday special with Earl Grey which was really delicious and quite light along with soft sponge cake and creamy frosting. I'd love to try their cake cups sometime for their other flavors.

The location of the bakery is quite hidden so you do need to circle around some plaza and the location isn’t the best. We got the 6 pack cake cups for $20. We didn’t have a pick up order but they had some available. Our favourite flavour was the tiramisu flavour! Super creamy and strong coffee flavour

Wowww! I’m so glad I found this hidden gem in Scarborough. It was my first time trying Manzou and I ordered the Early Grey cake for my dads birthday. Everyone loved the cake. It tasted super fresh and the ingredients tasted very flavourful and balanced with tea and sweetness. I can’t wait to try their cake cups next. The location was very hidden and not what I expected, everyone was pleasantly surprised by the cake quality.

Cake is alright. Nothing special. Others described the location as hidden but I'll describe it more as sketchy and unsafe. They have bars on their windows. I wouldn't order from them again unless they moved to a different location. The sesame cake tastes like black sesame dessert soup. It had good flavour. The cake box doesn't have their store name on it. It looks cheap and tacky. It seems as if they ordered random boxes off AliExpress. Edit: apparently expressing an opinion and anything less than 5 stars is being rude. In response to the owners, I would say everything I said in this review to your face. I see nothing wrong with what I said. I said the location felt unsafe. You are aware of this otherwise you wouldn't have bars over your windows. I said you had bad boxes. Again, something I would say to your face. I don't think it is expecting too much to expect the actual bakery name on the cake box. You'd think a business would be able to handle some feedback without calling the customer rude. It's not like I said your cakes were garbage.

Although I am not Asian, I love Manzou Bakery’s Cake Cups. I have recently ordered and tried them , and they are great. Manzou Bakery’s service is fast. I ordered the cup cakes yesterday in the late afternoon, and got them today in the early morning. And their cup cakes are in different flavours, including chocolate and earl grey. I will definitely recommend Manzou Bakery’s cakes to my friends and acquaintances. Thank you so much for your excellent service and delicious cakes, Manzou Bakery, and have a wonderful day!
