The Raven Bistro

Lovely little spot. Service was very professional, our waiter made some recommendations based on what we were in the mood for. Unfortunately, my dish wasn't what I expected it to be no problems with the cooking or anything, truly just not what I was hoping for and they had no problem taking it back so I could try another dish - which was EXCEPTIONAL. Ended up having the almond crusted halibut. We had a reservation and I'm glad we did since it was a busy spot. It's very central in Jasper but still feels quite cozy.

Awesome place to eat when you are in Jasper! Food came quick even though the place was busy. Loved the fact that the food was so flavourful without the use of extra salt. My steak was done to perfection med rare and the salmon was delicious. Also tried the bison and boar belly Flatbread and highly recommend it. Service was also better than expected , our server Britt always had a smile and asked us how we were doing . Make reservations! This place gets busy fast starting at 5:30pm. You will not be disappointed by The Raven Bistro.

Cute place, went in for lunch and it was great. The dishes are quite creative ingredient wise and taste refreshing. The -raven salad- really surprised me, fried beans mixed with orange chunks surely opened my appetite. The washroom on the second floor is really fancy. It has decent space for single person and pretty clean.

Food and service is very good. Reserve if you do not want to wait as it a busy and popular place. The dish selection is great. Lots of gluten free options. Deserts are good. I recommend. My partner got the schnitzel and I got the a zucchini dish. Pictures attached.

Delicious meal! Excellent flavor profiles! Our server Sarah was so accommodating and had great suggestions for visiting Jasper too! Definitely stop in for dinner. Highly recommend making reservations ahead of time!

The flavours are bold and forward, I was blown away. Do the Raven salad, if you need some greens. It's a curry dressing that I thought was super delectable, super refined. It's creamy and yet the flavours are bright because there's some ingredients that are acidic enough in there, like orange and raw beets. It's fantastic. It's not too strong in curry flavours if that's your concern. And then the seafood pot - if you're a seafood lover, this is it. I loved the yam noodles cuz they're so light and yet you can twirl it and satisfy that noodle craving. There was at least 3 scallops, 2 salmon pieces, 2 white fish pieces, 2 shrimps, 3 mussels...that was a feast. And there's veg in there too! And then we also had the 3 Pharoahs dish - that's like 3 dishes in one! My partner enjoyed it, 5 upon 5 stars he says. Service was awesome - we were tended to and got explanations to dishes and questions, our waitress was very prompt. Would recommend, would come again.

Absolutely blown away by the food and service. Best food hands down in jasper. Few bucks more but worth every penny. The short ribs were fantastic. The halibut was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The bison and boar belly appetizer and the falafel with feta were really really good. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to return. Also try the pomegranate blackberry or cherry mojito. Really good and very interesting.

Loved their salad and fries, awesome location , the restaurant is very busy in evening however we were able to manage to get table in like 5 minutes. They have good locations to park and dine . Their menu has good drinks too, loved their salads and desserts…

Good food, including vegan options. Partner liked her food, mine was just OK. Cute outdoor seating was full, so we sat inside which was also very nice. Cozy but felt separated from other guests, which was nice. Cocktails were OK, didn't love them. But probably just personal preference.Food: 4/5

Picked this one from google review, looks like a bar and grill from outside, staff is so friendly, price is more like a formal meal like KEG, dish is fantastic, full of favor, well balanced in taste and favor, portion is not a lot, we sat outside, got offered blanket and high heat on the fire, the waiter is very nice, it worth every penny you spend in this tourism town, if I got chance to come back for sure! Sorry about the meat picture ,it looks black outside but really good!
