What a treat to have such an authentic Northern Chinese food restaurant right here in Toronto. The dishes were made with fresh ingredients and really flavourful!!! Highly recommend the fish with red pepper, . You must come here, you will not regret!!!!

Food was good,very tasty, and great customer service. I like the fresh made pancake, it's crispy outside and sweet inside. The shrimp comes with lots of veggies ,I like the cabbage a lot. I saw a guy was eating the black beans sauce noodles and it looks so yummy. I am going to give a try next visit.

My family went to the old house Chinese restaurant yesterday. The restaurant was very busy but we didn’t wait for long. The food was super yummy! We had Kung Pao shrimps, lamb spine hot pot, Sliced beef in chilli sauce, Fish fillet with pickle veggies and beef pancakes. All of them were delicious! The shrimps in Kung Pao shrimps were tender and tasty! The lamb spines was ideal for meat lovers! My family liked all the dishes and finished them all! Excellent dine in experience and we will come back again!!

I live close to this restaurant and order takeout very often. Everything is freshly made, Yu Shiang Shredded Pork is so flavourful with a little bit heat, sweet and sour. Everything else is amazing! Strongly recommended!

We ordered raw BBQ from the Old House to the cottage. The beef and lamb was very juicy and tender. Also chicken liver was delicious. We regret not ordering more.

The food provided at this restaurant are very classic over many years. fair price; very clean inside; kind and friendly customer service. RECOMMEND!!

Always love this place for northern style food! Their dessert is made fresh in house and it’s soo good! Must try!

Their spicy intestines and guo bao rou was very delicious!! I do think the portion could be a little bigger with a $20 price!

Recommended by a friend, doesnt look too special from the outside but wow the food is top notch. Highly recommend the kung pao chicken and braised eggplant.
