Not bad at all. The hostess squeezed us in without a reservation. If you are looking for an inspiring environment, cute cocktails and great service, this place is good for all that. The food was good, atmosphere great. Expect to spend about $50+ for a plate and drink, not $20 like someone told me. Pretty simple menu, but that is expected considering they are new and they have such a high volume of customers to serve.
Beautiful venue! Gorgeous green and white outdoorsy vibe with pretty lighting. Food was great! Not totally out of this world for the pricing, but very good. Perfectly cooked pasta. Really enjoyed the cocktails. Great service. Only weird thing was that the height of the table/chairs/patio bench did not match up nicely. I found myself sitting up much too high and had to like raise my plate to my mouth to eat comfortably. Also made for weird posture the whole night, so kind of uncomfortable. I think worth going once for good food, good vibes and good service
We went to the soft opening last night. Booking a table was easy. DM responded very quickly. At arrival, the greeter/security person was not friendly. He definitely reminded me of those dudes standing in front of a night club on a Friday night. Joshua, the server, on the other hand, was very nice and friendly. He told us it was the grand opening so they were quite overwhelmed. We were in no hurry so it didn't bother us to wait a bit. But it was quite a bit of a wait. Pros and cons throughout the meal: Pros: - Big and beautiful back patio. - Good vibes. Perfect fit from young adults up to early 30s. If you are older than that, you will stand out and everyone knows you don't belong. See for yourself on their IG stories. - No time limit. You can stay as long as you want. Cons: - I'm not a picky eater but drinks and foods were alright. Like the another reviewer, I also ordered the pasta and paid $7 more for pancetta but there was hardly any. - Some tables were definitely not 2 metres apart. Unfortunately, I was at one of those. - The night got quite loud with the music and people's talking after a few margaritas. It's a beautiful place. I am sure they will improve. For now at least, this is a spot for younger folks to hang out since everything is done via social medias. If you want to enjoy a quiet evening with your partner over a few glasses of wine, wait until the initial rush is over.
Sad to say more hype than anything else. Total for the gram vs worrying about the experience. Wait staff are not familiar on norms …such as serving goblet glasses suited for sangrias vs rose wines. Then to top it off…filling it up like a beer to practically the brim. Sad as the girl clearly was not trained well and tried her best. Food also was average and not worth the cost. I would say pass unless you desperately need to increase your social media pump hand
I give this 1 star only because the ambiance was nice and the decor was good…thats it. If you’re looking for quality/value this is not the place for you…if you’re paying $22 for a margarita, it better be a damn good margarita. Spoiler alertit was not. The salmon dinner wasn’t even seasoned properly and we asked for their oysters and they ran out on a Saturday night. Shrimp cocktail was meh. Service was all over the place we had 4 different people ask us if we got our orders and drinks. Not worth your money or time. Really overpriced… I was really looking forward to coming here. Very disappointed. Will not be back they don’t know what they’re doing. Only good for pictures that’s it.
This is a restaurant for the Gram. A truly gorgeous patio full of trees, vines, flowers, exposed lightbulbs and white table cloths. Food is good but uninspired, especially for the price point - $22 for a basic 5-piece shrimp cocktail, $36 for pasta with pesto sauce and chicken. Cocktails were better but still expensive $22. Service was a strong point. Go if you’re happy to pay for the ambiance!
Visited for dinner on Friday evening with my sisters. Service was impeccable! Have not had such good service in a long time. With the exception of the 'bouncer' who was not as nice. Menu was simple but great! We ordered the pitcher of sangria but def could not taste any alcohol in it, ordered a bottle of wine after which was great. Ambience was amazing, an Instagrammers dream lol
Came here on their grand opening weekend. Nice little hidden gem, very cozy feel to it. The person who took my drink order was very friendly and approachable. I only had drinks but they were very uniquely crafted and delicious. Overall I will be returning as I want to try the food. I also do recommend you go check this place out if you're into cool little restos
Very underwhelming. Ordered the chicken sandwich and a cocktail and my bill came to $58 before tip. The sandwich was on glorified wonder bread with no side and had literally no flavour I could have made something better at home and the drink was fine. The server took one of our orders then went to walk away as if the entire table ordered. The staff lacked personality and barely spoke. The tables were plywood with a table cloth on it. I am shocked this place charges the prices they do considering the location and over all ambiance. Save your money and make a sandwich at home.
I don’t think I’ve ever experienced worse service anywhere. We made a reservation well in advance for a large group for a friends birthday, got there, they separated our group for about an hour and a half. Only half the group got an actual table the rest including the birthday girl were seated in the “VIP” section, which more resembled the kids table. We were just basically huddled by a small coffee table waiting for our actual table to clear so we could finally order food. The group seated at the table that was meant for us apparently has been there for about 4 hours and wouldn’t leave and the staff weren’t doing anything about it. Hosts and servers kept reassuring us that they’re going to leave soon but I personally saw one of the restaurant workers give a hug to one of the guests at that table meaning they were friends which made me doubt they were doing their best to make them leave. At ANY other restaurant, they simply let you know that you only have the table for 2 hours and that soon the next guests will be arriving so you need to clear out. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just do that here. Food wasn’t bad, however super overpriced. The thing with a lot of restaurants in Toronto, is they try to make up for bad food and/or bad service with good aesthetic. Worst experience, especially for the poor birthday girl
