Florette took us by surprise, in a nice way. The cocktails were well prepared, the dishes were highlighting the veggies and fruits perfectly, everything was very well balanced. Florette has a stunning ceiling and an intimate vibe. The menu options are pretty limited but what we had was good quality: - bread & butter - chicken croquettes - manila clams - rigatoni - chocolate tart We also wanted to try the stuffed poblano but they were out. Service was very slow after the appetizers, but the staff were very attentive and friendly. It’s also very loud in here. I honestly wasn’t crazy about the food but it definitely wasn’t bad either. I left still wanting more for dinner. However, the menu has good intentions and is very thoughtfully put-together. Nothing stood out but it’s a nice place to try and the menu changes frequently so I would come back!

The restaurant was cozy and absolutely beautiful. The ambiance, food and drinks were amazing - the whole trifecta effect. Perfect place for date night, girls night or a small group dinner party. Food was all shareable style and everything I tried was delicious. I really enjoyed their cocktails, all the drinks I tried were unique and tasty! The presentation of all dishes and drinks were top notch and I could tell a lot of thought was put into creating each dish/ drinks. Service was great, all staff were genuinely friendly people. For those that appreciate decor - all the light fixtures were different/ unique, and they also had vintage plates and cups that were personally thrifted! I want to give a shout out to Jerry and Matt for an incentive dining experience - I highly recommend Florette and will be returning :

Gorgeous space and amazing service with outstanding food. The menu was seasonal and left us wanting more. Interesting wine list and cocktails. Love the share plates and hearty but elevated fare. Must try!

Lovely atmosphere and design. The food was simple and delicious, I liked the beets and clams. Pasta and dessert were enjoyable as well. Big fan of Florette. The aesthetic is stunning, with no expense spared. The vibe is intimate and fun. The cocktails were varied, creative and super. And the menu was delicious, with lots of reasons to come back. A new staple for the area

Came here with a group of friends and tried everything on the menu! I must say that we were impressed and this new little restaurant has raised the bar for food for us in Toronto. Some of our highlights were: 1. Beets in the ground: it is mind blowing how they made beets taste so delicious! We are usually not fans of beets but we loved everything about this dish. I feel like vegetables are often glanced over on a restaurant’s menu, but this is a must order. It is so refreshing and savory at the same time - highly recommend. 2. Roasted cabbage - this was also another hidden gem. Usually we wouldn’t really order cabbage at a restaurant but we are so glad we got to try this! This is a must order as well - the texture was perfect and the taste profile was also fantastic. 3. Rigatoni - if you are a fan of carbone’s famous spicy vodka rigatoni, we’d say this is pretty comparable. It is savory, not too acidic with a hint of spice. Our rigatoni was cooked to perfection - al dente and we really have no complaints. 4. Corn pakoras - these were delicious as well and I don’t think we’ve had anything like this! Such a great appetizer and addition to your table to share. Honestly, everything else was also really delicious and I’d highly recommend everyone to come with a few friends so can order the whole menu the menu is not too big so this is totally doable. Aside from the food, the space is intimate & hip and it is a great spot for hanging out with friends or even a date night. Also recommend doing everything family style so you get to try a bit of everything!

I came to Florette for my birthday and let me say it was a great way to celebrate. My drink was very strong but it was so pretty. The food was delicious - my favourite dishes were beets in the ground and manila clams. Vibes were great and it is such a beautiful spot. I discovered Florette byway of the lighting designer Huey Light Shop, and what a treat it was! The staff was welcoming and friendly from start to end. The space was sexy and cool with a beautiful ceiling design. As for the food, every dish was outstanding. I appreciated the order and cadence in which the food was brought out, enough time to savour each one without it feeling rushed or delayed. The beets were absolutely delicious, we couldn’t get enough of them! Loved everything, the food especially was incredible. Our server was super friendly and helpful we had trouble picking mains because everything looked so good and she gave great advice. I will be returning.Food: 5/5
