Bar Banane

Not just a restaurant, but an experience, and a very nice one at that. The food was incredible, atmosphere was chill and the service was great. They tell you a story about each dish as it comes out and the presentation of the food really ups the game. They got a mention on the Michelin guide, but thankfully it's not quite Michelin pricing. Food was incredibly tasty with all kinds of flavours and types. Not a lot of menu selection overall, but this is the kind of place where they do what they do well. Servers were very entertaining and the timing of everything was great. Recommend for a special night out.

Amazing food, great service, and overall great experience at this restaurant! Definitely on the pricier end, but worth going once in a while for the experience! Including pictures of my favourite dishes, including the seafood tower the scallops were amazing, the seabass the way it's cooked and presented is a sight to see, the mushroom never knew mushrooms could taste this good, and the brioche buns just melts in your mouth with the butter.

Very loud environment that you need to shout to each other to hear properly. Service is slow and the food has …. Interesting taste. $160 spent for the meal and only the mushroom was acceptable. We checked the menu and sadly we aren’t big fans of most dishes so we don’t have much options to order and the waitress said “you are not hungry? You should order two of those or you won’t have enough” yeah gladly we did not order two of the same dish and got that burnt cabbage instead, which we did not like either but at least we expanded our list of dishes we won’t like.

This restaurant is fantastic. The place looks fabulous, the service is great, the food is delicious. Seriously one of the best dining experience I've ever had. Some reviews said it was expensive but the quality of the dishes I ordered match the price I paid and I can't recommend this place enough.

Top marks. We got one of everything, which is definitely the way to go since all the plates are meant to be eaten in one or two bites. Everything was outstanding, I can’t even pick a favorite. The attention to detail in every bite was next level- even the temperatures of different components of each bite were perfection. Service was excellent, Moon water cocktail was also sublime

Great dining experience, love the seafood, it’s so fresh. Had a chance to try their new Bar Banane, the cocktails were so good too. Service was impeccable. The server Caterina and the busser Luna are amazing. Definitely gonna go back.

When we climbed the stairs and stepped into the room we got an old school speakeasy vibe mixed with a modernist twist. We were transported into a world of accessible sophistication and intrigue. The atmosphere was upbeat and the female server we had was the cherry on top, with her gracious, knowledgeable, and attentive service. The real stars of the show at Bar Banane were the expertly crafted, and deliciously addictive cocktails and appetizers. Each cocktail was a expertly crafted, and the appetizers had us ordering and eating more and more. If you're in the Toronto area and in need of a top-notch drinking experience, look no further than Bar Banane. Make reservations on their website first for the front lounge or the bar. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

One of the best experiences I have ever had! Food was to die for! Lexi and the staff had made this night extremely memorable, even when I was almost an hour late! Great service, food is one of the best by far! Thank you so much Le Banane for this wonderful experience, will definitely be back!

When here for my Birthday dinner. Love the industrial-chic ambiance, , craft-cocktails, and culinary delights It’s classy, cool, and with a comfy vibe. Services were excellent. Servers always walk by to check on us. Love the fish dish so much It was incredible I was almost double order it but so full at that time. My gf love roasted maitake mushroom. She said it’s impeccable

The staff here are very kind, welcoming and talented. Came here for cocktails and some snacks after dinner. Just like the restaurant the food and drinks hit and exceeded expectations. The pricing is very fair, and the food and cocktail is worth the trip to try. Definitely a good place for dates and with friends and colleagues.Recommended dishes
