Kudo's to the chef at Mission Eatery for making the most delicious jerk chicken that I've ever tasted. The burst of flavor from the jerk sauce wasn't too spicy and the portion size was generous. The rice & peas was excellent! This chef is truly skilled at cooking Caribbean cuisine. Keep up the good work!
Had the poke bowl that was a special order item and it was amazing. I ate it so fast I could take a picture. I got a picture from a friend with more self control. Best lunch in ages.
Incredible soups, salads and sandwiches. The place can be a bit tricky to find but if you just wander down the hall on the main floor you'll find it. The owners put great effort into each meal and it shows. They have rotating hot specials as well. Great hidden gem!
Delish! Some friends of mine and I met there for brunch.
This is the workplace cafeteria you always wish you had. Every time the food is fast less than 5 minutes, reasonably priced $10 or below, except for some specials that are $10-15, in big portions and most importantly, delicious. I gotta hand it to the kitchen here for the variety. Every day they pull off a different world cuisine from scratch in the daily specials, sometimes 2 or 3 different ones in a day. I'm not usually this effusive but they deserve it. I can't say enough about the professionalism and quality of this place. Truly a hidden gem.
I used to like coming here on a regular basis at least once a week. The price was good for the food they give. But the customer service isn't up to food industry standard. I had uncooked chicken and tried explaining what the problem was. The manager took it personally and handled the matter unprofessionally. She argued saying it was cooked and that this is how it should be I assume she did this as she didn't want the other customers around to think they served uncooked chicken. I calmly told her I didn't feel the same and I asked if I could switch this for the other special they had same price I already paid. She said no, I'll just refund your plate and I asked why I couldn't switch it for the pasta. But she insisted to just refund me. Basically meaning she's refusing to serve me food because I debated with her on the cook level of the chicken. It's okay to make mistakes, it was how the matter was handled that I didn't like , especially when I bring in a group of us on a weekly basis.
This is a hidden gem. Food is healthy and specials are great. It's just hidden in one of the buildings and Google map doesn't really show that. The prices are good compared to the size of the meal. Highly recommend it. If you are just picking up the food, you can order ahead of time and not pay for the $3 parking per hour.
This place is great. I can't say enough good things. Fresh food made on site in the morning for lunch. Owner is great, food is fantastic for eating out at lunch. You can't really beat it given there are specials every day and portions are good. Variety is also great there. Recommend.
I ordered the coconut shrimp with fried rice and a side soup, ginger carrot. It was very good, the soup especially so. It all cost about$16 including tax and a pop. The service was excellent and quick and very polite
I absolutely LOVE this place. Such fresh food! From the ingredients, to the preparing, to the execution, you can really tell that the food is being handled with care. They believe in making and providing the same food that they themselves would feed their families. And this is a philosophy too few establishment follow. Thank you Mission Eatery!!!! I'll be back with more people!
