I would give this place 2.5. It has potential, but it's not worth the price. Paid $10 for the below breakfast sandwich which included eggs, American cheese, and chicken sausage on a brioche bub. The sausages are sliced weirdly See last pic and include only 3 of them. The sandwich was cold and even when I asked for it to be heated up it wasn't warm. Majority of the sandwich was egg, and the eggs lacked any flavor salt or pepper. When I asked for it to be heated I saw the lady behind the counter had numerous plates of food just sitting there - no wonder the food comes out cold. Just go to Starbucks.
They ask for an 18% tip with payment. When I have to order on a computer and pay before I get any service or food. See photo. This is coffee? Yes said the server that’s how we make it. I thought maybe they forgot to refill the drip machine, but apparently not. To be fair the breakfast was pretty good. Bacon and eggs. $63 for breakfast and coffee for two? I know it’s an airport, and I expect to pay that, but I was expecting it to compare to the experience at YVR Stanley Park brew pub restaurant where we go early to enjoy the experience as well as the food. Same price, but included a beer.
Their avocado toast is so yummy and fresh. The waitress recommended it for me and it's worth it. I also ordered salad to go and it was equally fresh and healthy.
From bad to worse… I regret not checking reviews before ordering avocado and cheese sandwich for breakfast at terminal 3. Mine came with a half slice of “fake cheese” and less than a teaspoon of avocado!!! It didn’t looks even half of the promised in their picture’s menu….
Can I give 0 stars? Worst service ever. Ordered takeout coffees and 2 sandwiches for 55 dollars with tip and 30 min later got two wineglasses of coffee and sandwiches that looked ok. Asked for a refund, they called the manager, and I waited longer... No apology - apparently it's my fault for leaving the table to use the washroom. I had to leave for my flight so didn't get a refund. Wow. Pathetic.
We only had lattes, which were good- but they definitely forgot the extra shot of espresso in my drink. It’s got a nice vibe though, and people are friendly enough. Pearson workers are generally unpleasant, so I liked that they were kind. Great set up at the gate, you can order from your seat and they bring it over.
I was connecting through Terminal 1 at Pearson on Friday so I decided to stop here for food. While the food was decent for the airport but I saw something I did not like. There was a poor pregnant employee who was getting screamed at by what seemed to be a supervisor. This pregnant lady was crying and shaking and visibly upset while the supervisor threw a temper tantrum. Quite right ridiculous for anyone to be spoken to that way. Based on that experience alone I will not be eating here anymore. Treat your employees better and your business will thrive. I myself am a business owner and if one of my supervisors was speaking to my employees that way, immediate dismissal. Supervisors need to be calm and keep it together, not fly off the handle. Get a new supervisor!
Avoid this place if there is ANY other eatery open. Absolutely horrible. The coffee was disgusting, bread was stale, and the sandwich had hardly any filling in it. Prices were exorbitant, or should I say extortion. Customer service was blunt. Not a pleasant experience.
Service was good but this is not a grilled cheese.
Just saw a mouse run by while sitting by this restaurant. Selling filthy and mice infested food. Told the manager he didn’t seem to care.
