"The Little Gym is the world’s premiere enrichment and physical development center for kids 4 months through 12 years. Our trained instructors nurture happy, confident kids through a range of non-competitive programs including parent/child classes, gymnastics, karate, dance, sports prep, and pre-school prep, plus enjoyable extras like camps, Parentsʼ Survival Nights and Awesome Birthday Bashes. Just had a birthday party for my 4yr old. He loved it, and all his little friends did too. We had a great time. The people there took charge and decorated, served food, cleaned and entertained the little ones. I just wish we had a bit more time. Overall a great experience.
My 1.5yr old needed an outlet for his climbing as well as a place to help his shyness. After two months of classes every week he learned a number of pre-gymnastics tumbling skills and learned to be more out going. A great environment for guided risk taking, spatial and body development as well as a place for social growth. The mat layouts change weekly to challenge the little gymnasts thinking and problem solving. My 4yr old goes to their monthly Parent Survival Night on Fridays. Three hours of evening activities, crafts, etc. while parents go to dinner or watch TV at home. She loves it so much. They offer week long summer camps which she will attend also. Staff are friendly, professional, communicative and show a clear understanding of what to expect at various stages of childhood development. The facility is easy to get to with ample parking. It is clean inside with modern colours and designs easy to look at by both adults and children. There is a common room for snacks and unstructured play. I highly recommend The Little Gym to other parents and families.
I'm not sure who loves this place more, my kids or me. We've been coming here for a number of years with my two children 4 & 6. The staff are incredible, they make you feel like family and my children adore every single one of them. Everything about the facility is safe, caring and educational. You are not going to get traditional gymnastics training, but your kids will learn how to move their bodies well, and boy will they get stronger, you should see the calf muscles on my kids! Birthday parties are phenomenal! Expensive yes, but you get a great party without any headache. Worth it for our family. I highly recommend for anyone wanting their children to be exposed to gymnastics and wanting activity.
My daughter had her 4th year old birthday there yesterday. The kids had a lot of fun in the gym. The staffs were absolutely amazing! They took care of everything for us from setting up the room to serving the snacks. I was so surprised that I actually had time to chill and chat with all the parents. Highly recommend this place.
Have nothing but great things to say about the Little Gym. I've found the teachers to be caring, nurturing and attentive. My three year old was a shy little girl eight months ago when she started. She used to be the only one staring at all of the other kids in any class I've taken her to. After one class a week at the Little Gym she's now happy to participate in other classes as well. Her gym class is her favourite though, she talks about it all week long. The teachers are supportive and encouraging but make the class interesting at the same time. We're very thankful to have come here!
We had my son’s second birthday here. The gym is amazing and kept a range of children entertained from babies to two 6 year olds. 3 staff were provided and they took care of every detail. We absolutely loved it and would definitely have another birthday here !
What an amazing and positive space for my almost three year old. I WISH I had this for my older two. This is one of the few places for children where ALL of the staff behave in a way that shows just how truly invested in running great programs they are, while at the same time allowing children to be children. I am so impressed with all of the staff and owners of this location. I have a very busy little guy and we have finally found a place to channel all of that energy into positive, directed fun! We will be a member here until they tell me he is too old to participate lol!
The classes are great and some of the staff are really nice. However, when my daughter was sick and it was her last class of the season I asked if we could do a makeup since I didn't want to get the other kids sick or make my daughter's situation worst. The lady on the phone told me I couldn't change the class because in the upcoming fall season they didn't have the same bird's class but I still see it there and that I would have to purchase an entire seasons' class so that I could make up for one class. I didn't understand why the rule was so strict considering the classes are prepaid for anyway. They could've at least credited me
I called to inquire about their no socks policy. Other gyms allow socks and some even grip socks trampoline places. They strictly have a no socks policy and informed me that if a child has foot warts they will cover it with tape to prevent spreading to other kids. Do they examine every child's foot before they let them in the gym??? This does not seem sanitary to me. It's a shame because it seems like a fun place.
This is the second year we've had my daughters birthday party at The Little Gym and we have nothing but great things to say! The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind, the space is clean, and the kids always have a great time!
