We’ve been here a few times. Always excellent service. Very attentive and careful for GLUTEN FREE preparations. The top sirloin is always prepared perfectly. It’s a wait if you go during “standard” dinner times, we usually can walk right in around 5/5:15 (but we have the schedule of the elderly, so that’s our own choice) Their cocktails never disappoint either.

Wow, what an absolute disappointment. What is going on with Steak houses in Ottawa? Why can I go to an ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet like the Mandarin? Blasphemy you say!?? I ordered the prime rib special at 33 dollars a plate. What I got was a cold piece of meat that appeared to be hacked off with a rusty axe. A absolute mess. 65% of the cut was thick fat, the rest was edible meat with a huge variation in thickness. Some ends were 2 inches thick, the other end of the steak is paper thin... My wife got a 28 dollar steak and she said it was tough and chewy, this is not a joke! Avoid this place, you can get a better steak and Food Basics. I have NO idea how this place has this rating...fake reviews maybe?? They get one start because the servers were nice. You know how hard it is to tip someone for good service when the food is garbage?? Anyway, they are lucky it was my wife's birthday or I would have called them out. Half way threw the meal she wanted to tell me how bad it is but she really hates when I make a complaint about the food.... We will NEVER go back to this Keg, EVER.

Our first time at the Stittsville location, May 3rd. Staff were very efficient and welcoming from entering until we departed. A special note goes out to Alex, our server. Had the prime rib special. My husband had the full rack of ribs. Both of us enjoyed our meals very much. We are looking forward to returning.

This is a new location but they haven’t missed a single opportunity to perfect their process. The Rib steak has been awesome and cooked to a perfect medium, complete with the extras. It is also reasonable priced if compared with Moxie, Joey’s and the like, but at least coming here you know that you will get awesome service and exceptional food. Also, their freshly baked bread is second to none. After we were done I would have liked to speak to the manager to thank him for the excellent service and food. Also, the cheesecake is amazing. If you get it without the syrup, you’re in for a real treat.

I absolutely love The Keg on Hunt Club Road! But, in saying that, the Stittsville location really disappointed me. It started off great, and our waitress was great. Very kind and attentive. The fresh bread was delicious! I ordered a sangria to enjoy with it, but the bread was gone before it arrived. It took about and hour and twenty minutes to get our main courses. I got the ahi tuna tacos - which were wonderful - but 3 small tacos for $16? I'm glad I ordered a side of fries. I was hungry by the time we got home. Half a cauliflower head with some chickpeas and a few stalks of asparagus was $19. I hope it's just the "new restaurant jitters" but I'm hesitant to come back.
