The Glen

We have always loved the Glen, the BEST fish and chips in town! Their new location is amazing either a sit down dining experience or the pub side for a pint and a game. So great for date night or to hang with the guys for a game. We love the Cajun seasoned fish, or the breaded. Great portions too, they are not stingy with the fish! My only complaint is the mashed potatoes used to be the best, but somewhere along the way they changed the recipe...Worth the drive to Stittsville, worth passing by the Keg to have fish and chips at the Glen!

This place is a favourite of mine and my husband's. I would guess we end up here once every couple of months. The service is always good. We prefer the dining room side as it is a little quieter than the bar. We are pretty boring people. My husband usually gets the beer battered fish and chips and I get the chicken caesar taco with sweet potato fries. Never disappointed. Neither of us drink so cannot comment on the quality of the offerings on tap. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood.

Still a classic after many years in the community. Great Scottish classics with some nicely updated items as well. Good selection of beer, ale, and cider. Staff is professional and friendly and it shows that this is a family run pub who cares about what they do. Highly recommended.

Perhaps we went on a bad night however there only seemed to be one server for the entire dining side on the right side of the restaurant. It took 25 minutes for a soda refill which was asked for twice. Went on a date night. Do not get the glen burger - their burger patty is about the same size as a Wendy’s burger! You’d think for $50 you would get a more filling burger. The atmosphere was great and food quality was good. We will try again in the future with the hopes of more efficient service!

The best scotch egg in Ottawa! We were able to bring our pooch into the patio area to enjoy a nice lunch together. Staff are very friendly, will definitely be back
