​It had been at least 10 years since our last visit, and while the atmosphere looked a bit different, we had a great time!nn​We discovered they have Happy Hour from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.nOur server, Fernanda, was so friendly, fast, and greeted usnwith a big smile!nn​Drinks:n​Espresso Martini $12: So good—way better than Cactus Club! At $12 a glass, it was a pretty good deal, so I ended up having two.n​Spicy Watermelon Margarita: My husband tried this and really liked it. It tasted similar to the Jalapeño Margarita from Cactus Club, but with watermelon juice.nn​Food:nWe shared a few different dishes:n​10 oz Prime Rib: Served with Caesar salad and fried onions.nn​Three Pepper Wings: Came with pickled celery and chopped blue cheese.nn​Mushrooms Neptune: Very cheesy with a strong, delicious flavor of cream cheese and crab meat.nn​Billy Miner Pie $12: My favorite! It came with plenty of almonds on the side, was double the size of the one at Boathouse, and only $12. It was huge, so I had to share it with my husband.nn​Bacon-Wrapped Mini Scallop Skewer: The only real disappointment of the meal—it tasted just like the frozen bacon-wrapped scallops you buy at the supermarket.nn​Overall, we really enjoyed the drinks, wings, prime rib, Mushrooms Neptune, and Billy Miner Pie! The total came ton$171 including tip, and we werenso full we didn't even need dinner afterward. We'll definitely be back!

We’ve been here many times, and it’s always a great experience! Good food and friendly service every time.nnWe ordered the New York steak and the prime rib — both were very good. The loaded nachos were delicious as well, although ours only came with cheese and didn’t have ground beef. The calamari was crispy and tasty too. nnThey also surprised us with a birthday dessert at the end, which was very thoughtful and sweet

I came running right after our visit!!nIt was first time for me and my wife to dine in The Keg. I was deciding among many places that serve lobster and steak, and decided to visit The Keg Burnaby due to the proximity as well as the menu. Best decision I made for my wife’s birthday dinner!nOur server was Amanda, and she made our visit beyond any expectations we had. She was very welcoming and warm, wishing my wife happy birthday multiple times. Food was exceptional as well as our drinks, but it was her service that made a lasting impression in my mind. I want to thank Amanda deeply for making it such a memorable and happy evening for us.nnAppetizer: Escargot, complimentary breadnMains : fillet mignon, lobster dinnernDessert: Billy miner pie

Had such a great experience at The Keg!nOur server was absolutely superb,very helpful in guiding us through the menu, suggesting great options, and helping us decide on the best value.nShe was attentive, thoughtful, and made us feel completely comfortable the whole time.nShe even offered to split our food into two plates, which we really appreciated,it made everything more convenient and enjoyable.nnWe originally came just for the Billy Miner Pie to celebrate my best friend’s birthday in advance, but ended up staying and enjoying a full meal, and we’re so glad we did!nnAnd of course, the Billy Miner Pie was divine, loaded with lots of almonds and absolutely the star of the night.

The Keg always hold a reputation until tonight. We ordered a filet mignon and a sirloin and lobster tail, together with a couple of drinks. They started with some delicious warm bread as usual. To my suprise the bread was so tough on the outside that was hard to chew, followed by a disappointing lobster steak set, in which the lobster was way too salty, the sirloin was overheated to a point that you can see and taste the burnt, and sadly, the side vegetables were undercooked. The filet mignon, on the other hand, was a good job. The sevice was slow compared to other weeknights we visited. Tonight's experience changed my impression of the Keg.
