The Keg Steakhouse + Bar

The Keg is fairly consistent. It is not the very top echelon of steak houses but it is the best alternative in the suburbs. This is the third time visiting in 6 weeks. All different locations. The waiter kept saying our food would be right out the disappeared for 20 minutes and it was obvious our food spent some time under a heat light but even so my wife was happy as she likes her meat cooked lately. Mine had gone from medium rare to medium. The other two recent visits, our orders we more exact. It is good dining at decent prices. Not the best steakhouses in Vancouver but the next best thing.

The prime rib steak was great! We went for dine-out for my birthday and got the 3 course meal. The Billy Miners pie was so rich and chocolatey. If you notice some of the staff going around w a tablet I was told by our server it's because they track what course you are on every so often. Our server was very welcoming. You should check out this location if you are in the area if you haven't already.

The service here is fantastic. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, really hit the spot. I had the red sangria and it was also very tasty, and not very expensive during happy hour! There were these weird very gross berries in it but I just drank around them Overall very positive experience and awesome atmosphere

We were here for my birthday with my baby. The server was professional and put us at a table where the stroller could fit perfectly. The steak was exactly how we ordered it. They even offered to make soft boiled food for my baby! And this perfect meal ended with a surprise birthday ice cream cake on the house. I have to say it’s he best Keg around town!

First time I came here, the steak was so so (very charred) but because it was so busy, I didn’t bother to complain. A few months later we came here again and since then we’ve been coming here pretty much every week as a group for dinner (sit in the lounge). This keg location is consistent in service and food, over a two year period. They are never short staffed and are always friendly, whether you roll in in a dress or sweatpants. There is usually a wait but once you get a seat, it’s fast but no one is pushy. The dinner section is nice as well. Only downside is that it is a bit out of the way and nothing else around except Costco. Parking can be a hassle when it is busy. Great vibe.
