Story

On top of spaghetti, All covered with cheese, I lost my poor meatball, When somebody sneezed. It rolled off the table, And on to the floor, And then my poor meatball, Rolled out of the door. It rolled in the garden, And under a bush, And then my poor meatball, Was nothing but mush...may I have another?? :)

Believe it or not, friends have been trying to get me to go to this restaurant since 1993! Tonight was the night! I was able to walk in, be seated and had an amazing authentic Italian meal with my family from out of town. We arrived early to avoid the line up and left full and happy. Our meal was not rushed, just like home, we were able to visit with one another and the service was perfect, not pushy and super friendly! We left with boxes of food, just as I was told would happen! After all these years, Anton lived up to his reputation and more! Good job to the kitchen and staff. Nice work.Decent prices too!
We had a wonderful time at Anton’s Pasta Bar, a group of four, and from start to finish everything was fantastic.nnThe portions were huge and delicious, easily enough for take-home leftovers, and every dish we tried was full of flavour.nnThe hospitality was truly impressive. Not only was the service professional and welcoming, but Amir in particular did an excellent job, his thoughtful attention made our meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere felt warm and casual, perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner with friends.nnA couple of tips: Anton’s can get busy during peak times, so arriving a bit earlier or being ready to wait for a table can help.nnOverall, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had, and we highly recommend giving Anton’s Pasta Bar a try.
We waited almost two hours from arrival to actually dining, which was very disappointing. The fettuccine chicken Alfredo was quite tasteless and unfortunately overloaded with black pepper, which made it hard to enjoy. The lasagna was just average, it could definitely use more salt and seasoning to bring out the flavor.nThat said, the staff were very friendly and polite throughout the experience, which we appreciated. I hope the kitchen can improve the food quality and timing because the service team was great.
A Vancouver staple that’s been around forever! But it is CRUCIAL to know what to get. After coming here over my lifetime I think the best pastas are the Conchigile Frutti de Mare and the Penne Bombay. The frutti de mare is the best one on the whole menu by far but the Bombay is so nice because it not so rich and the spice helps cut the creaminess of the frutti de mare.nnPortions are huge. Be prepared to have leftovers. The value of this place is insane and it keeps me coming back. Pls don’t change lol.
Came by to check out a spot that serves big portions of food and I was not disappointed. The portion sizes are huge and you will most likely end up with leftovers or leaving the rest behind. The restaurant also gets very busy and there can be a lineup out the door. Come by if you're really hungry or looking for food that you can enjoy for 2-3 meals
