McDonald's

We were in town from Vancouver for the toy show tomorrow. After checking into our hotel, we decided to grab some food from this McDonald’s. It wasn’t busy, but they still made us wait after we pulled up.nnWhen leaving the drive-thru, there’s an extended curb on the right side that’s almost impossible to see as you pull out. Unfortunately, we ended up smashing the rim on our car because of it.nnThen when we finally got the food, it was really disappointing. The burger barely had any ketchup on it, the bun was cracked and smashed, and the fries were floppy and undercooked — which was frustrating since that’s apparently what we were waiting for.nnOverall, the food tasted terrible and the whole experience was pretty bad.

Visited this McDonald's on Friday, March 27th at 9:30ish pm. Ordered 30 cheeseburgers with no meat through the drive-thru. Waited for them as we knew it may take a while. Received the bags and got on the highway to Surrey. Went through the bags on the drive and the burgers were not fully wrapped and over half were out of the wrappers. The wrapping had no folds and were draped over the top with a scrunch to close them on the bottom.nnOpened a burger and there were no onions and the ones that actually had pickles about half had no pickles they were piled on each other in twos and in the corner. Checked all of them as they needed to be put back into the wrappers. Discovered that the cheese was not in the center and 8 had it half off the burger.nnNo receipt, so Googled for the number. We're now in New Westminster about to go over the new Patullo bridge. At 9:45 pm, I called McDonald's. Asked for the manager and a female with an Indian accent came on the phone. She was dismissive. When I said we are making a complaint, she refused to even give her first name. Asked for the order number and she said the McDonald's no longer has order numbers. She said that I should print out my bank statement and bring it in to the McDonald's as proof I purchased the burgers.nnGot to Surrey and chopped up onions and added cheese and pickles and then gave them to our family and guests.nnI called customer service on Monday, March 30th and was told that the staff must give their first name when customers ask and that McDonald's receipts do in fact have order numbers and she should have given in to me. I was then told that a manager from head office would call me within 3 business days to resolve my complaint. It's been a week and nobody has called.nnThis location used to be amazing, however, the service has gone down to nil, including that of certain managers.

Services are usually good. I just want to clarify ordering tea instructions. I ordered have tea on the side from menu. I only want very light tea so put in tea bag when ready to drink. This time my server told me I should select “take teabag out”. I’m confused which one is correct. 1. Tea on side 2. Take teabag out. I usually pick 1. But was told today it wrong. I should select 2. ‍please advise,nTo me “take teabag out” is after you dip in water & put wet teabag on the tray.nAnother issue I have is no receipt come out from kiosk for various reasons out of paper, got stuck inside, I have to wait at cashier to get one.

Pretty reasonable experience; fast drive thru service and well assembled burgers. Both the facility and the parking lot seem to be huge.

Well the food is good and the coffees are always mixed perfect. I just have an issue with the presentation. Like I know, it's McD, so what do you expect. But when I go to A&W or Triple-Os, they are quality and look picture perfect.
