The Keg Steakhouse + Bar

I love going to the Keg. It was my first time at the Guelph location, but the ambiance was the same everywhere else and the service was amazing. We ordered the iceberg wedge salad, the escargot with bread, the baseball top sirloin and the steak and lobster with the twice baked potato and vegetables. The broccoli was burnt, but the lady brought us more. I wasn't happy about the broccoli because it was still burnt, but I was there for the steak anyway. Everything else we got was juicy, tender and perfectly made. I loved the Billy miner pie! They gave it to us for his birthday, which made it even more special! I would definitely come back again!

Great atmosphere, our server did a super job taking care of our table of 6. The restaurant was very busy, but it didn't interfere with our experience. Food was amazing and lots of it! I had the rib steak with twice baked potato and veggies. Couldn't eat all 20oz of it! My wife had the 10oz prime rib. The desserts were huge and the specialty coffee selection was very nice. Will be back for sure!

I was here for my birthday dinner and got the chicken dinner was definitely not what i was expecting i also got red peppers and zucchini as my veggies and there are my least favorite as they made my stomach hurt. The drinks were very good tho id come here just for the bar!! The creme brule was good tho and large sizing too was free for my birthday! And really good customer service!

Got the prime rib classic it was good. Decided to get "Seafood Topper" for $15 too. Very disappointed about that price - you get only 7 little shrimp and 1 tiny pieces of lobster both tasted overcooked as well. A very very disappointed birthday meal for me : The photo shows that -it was put in same container as the prime rib classic.

Rebecca was an excellent server, she always kept checking on us, our waters never emptied and she was super attentive through the night. It was a great experience and I went with my girlfriend here and no complications, the food was top of the line, the service was exemplary and I look forward to coming back here. I ordered the rib steak and it was amazing, as well as the calamari. Rebecca again was a key difference in this night as her positive attitude and kindness were outstanding and should serve as an example for effort, customer care and courtesy

Came here for our first indoor post-covid family meal and The Keg did not disappoint! Our server was excellent and the food was Keg Quality. I ordered my steak medium-rare and it came out perfect. We enjoyed a laid back meal and never felt rushed. It was comforting to just hang out like the old days in a comforting atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit

About two weeks ago I came to the keg with 26 people to celebrate the night before my wedding. From the moment we walked in the hosts made us feel so welcomed. The host Aline, even offered to take group photos of us. Our servers James, Sydney and Rachel did an amazing job at helping all of us have a great night. They always checked up on us and made sure we were well taken care of. I would highly recommend this keg as the service and atmosphere is just incredible.

My boyfriend and I went here on Friday night to celebrate his birthday. We had never been to this location before and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the food was amazing! What stood out the most, however, was our incredible service. Our waiter that evening was Tyson and he was incredible! He was so genuinely kind and made amazing recommendations! We had never tried the lobster gratine appetizer before and it was to DIE for! All of our drinks and food was served at the perfect times and he checked in with us the perfect amount during our meal. My boyfriend and I both agree we have never had service this amazing by someone who actually seems to care a whole lot about his job and the guests. We hope he is being well cared for by The Keg and if anything, deserves a great bonus or raise this holiday season! We will definitely be back to this location in the near future, and have told family members to give the Guelph location a try as well. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

I enjoy going to the keg for special occasion. Food there is pretty good.

Normally I enjoy this Keg above most and almost always have a delightful experience however, this time service, food, and my anniversary experience was certainly lacking. We ate in the bar area on Saturday night, steak was cold and not cooked to medium rare, so was my partners salmon, though she certainly enjoyed it. Our server would leave for long bouts at a time, no beverages and we would have to flag down other servers and staff to get refills or recognized once we submitted our initial order. I live in Guelph, and the Keg is my go to at least 10 times a year for special occasions. Hopefully this will offer an opportunity for some improvement.
