Food was good, drinks were not well made cocktails. Service was good called and got a reservation shortly after I called. Warm welcoming host. Menu was not very inviting and wasn't fully up to date with all the days offerings. I will give it another shot as the food was great.Food: 4/5
I came here a few weeks ago with my family for the first time but my mom has been coming here every so often for years and has always had a great experience. The place could probably use a little updating but it adds to the charm of it. Excellent food, excellent service. I ordered their stuffed chicken with sauce on the side, and I’m glad I did because it was excellent but I didn’t like the sauce and if you don’t like a spice or mustard you won’t either but other people would. Myself and my family really enjoyed everything.
Impeccable service, and some serious attention to detail on the food. This restaurant makes it a point to prepare the food with the highest of standards. We tried the NY Strip, and Filet Mignon -- they were properly seasoned and seared and served with a beautiful Au Jus. The best was the Pistachio Crusted Salmon. Each bite was a flavour bomb and everyone at the table tried a piece, and we're jealous -- it was that good. A place to come back again and again. Well done Aberfoyle Mill.
Excellent dining experience ! This was our first time here and will not be our last. Our server Victoria was amazing!! she was attentive, super friendly and made us feel very at home. The food was REALLY GOOD! Everything we had was delicious & probably one of the best meals I've had in a really long time. Not only was it cooked to perfection but they happily made some changes based on my requests and have a generously sized vegan/vegetarian menu selection. The ambiance of the place was warm and cozy. TWO THUMBS UP !!
We had dinner and all 3 of us enjoyed our meal. We started with the escargot and had the Rotini Pasta, Condit of Duck Leg, and Linguine Pasta for our main course. I ordered cheesecake for dessert and they added canfle because it was my birthday.
Excellent atmosphere, food, and service. Our waitress was a hoot! Service was prompt. Food recommendations were on point. I highly recommend the pear pecan salad. So glad I did.
Fine dining at its BEST!! How refreshing it was to have finally found a restaurant that offers you such a memorable experience, start finish WITHOUT paying an arm and a leg! Outstanding service. We never felt rushed and we did not have to ask for a thing. Impressive for a table of 10! Not one person was disappointed with their meal. Every bite was melt in your mouth deliciousness! I had the rack of lamb. It was cooked to perfection. Exactly the way I requested and beautifully presented. The ambiance was lovely too. A cozy setting, dimly lit with tables set in crisp white linens. We cannot wait to return!
This was our first visit and it was date night. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely and the service is impeccable. The food is very good. My husband had the prime rib and it melted in his mouth. He was very happy with his meal. The Caesar salad was delicious and the daily soup was flavourful. I wasn't blown away by my pasta dish rigatoni I had higher expectations for it. I did eat it all but would not order it again. A nice spot for a special occasion. It is quite pricey for a regular everyday meal.
Incredible service. Staff was very friendly attentive without being intrusive. Food was amazing well worth the money.
I recently attended a wedding here, the staff were awesome, the food was excellent and the venue was beautiful. I definitely recommend this place.
