I don't normally come to Montanas, but I really enjoyed the food and the service. I ordered the butter milk fried chicken. I loved it, but wished that the chicken pieces were larger. The mashed potatoes were to die for. It was fluffy and buttery. The Cornbread was perfectly baked and the beans were crunchy. The burger was so filling and the fries were crispy and soft on the inside. I would go back again!
Montana's does some things soo well! My steak was perfect and because the potatoes were tiny they gave me 2 lol I would have been totally happy with one but they go above and beyond. The smokehouse wrap was really good too. It's nice that what you get actually looks like the pics in the menu! We big fans of this Guelph location in particular. We always have great service.
Very friendly staff and good food. If you like hot food I would recommend the fire cracker burger. Recently had the Double Onion and Smoky Bacon Cheeseburger which was greasy, but very delicious. Also the kapow shrimp is a very tasty appetizer.

Not great. Western style restaurant with steak prominent on the menu. I had the rib eye. Asked for medium rare came out well done and tough. Plus very salty. Would not recommend this menu item. There are better restaurants in this range, Outback and Texas Roadhouse seem to have better quality steaks. Would not recommend this place.Food: 2/5
My wife and I go to resteraunts all the time, constantly trying different places. We're always looking for the best tasting food of course but also how friendly the staff is. The food at this place is absolutely amazing. Even while eating a simple dish such as mashed potatoes, with every Bite you wonder how they made it taste as good as it is. And as for the environment, Barbara was our server and she was so friendly towards us that she made us feel like we were family. All in all the food is 10/10 And the service is 10/10 We would highly recommend.
Great atmosphere inside and out. Staff are always excellent everytime we go. Food is pretty good.
We have gone to Montana's for many years. If you want to enjoy a great eating experience, go to Guelph's location. The food is awesome. The service is great with server's who care. The owner and manger runs the business with such pride and love. It always clean and well maintained. We always feel welcome. It is one of our favorite retaurants!
