Exceptional pint. Great spot for a cold one with the boys or a date with the wife. Excellent selection of tasty brews. Just what you need after a long work day. Knowledgeable staff. Place is the bees knees. They have comedy night every Tuesday and it is actually good. Funny comics. Pizza is mouth watering as well. Good pie. The za fires. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere as well.
Great place. Good service. Around 12 microbrews to choose from. Tried a couple of flights and the cider with friends. Liked them all. The non-alcoholic Hibiscus Mint was refreshing.
Cool brewery/brew pub right in downtown Guelph. Erin served us and she was wonderful, checked on us regularly and knew her stuff. The beers were good, the craft beer game is so diverse these days it’s hard to find something that stands out above the rest lately, but what Brothers offered none the less was tasty. A variety of seltzer’s also on tap for non-beer drinkers! Prices are fair for both food and drink, everyone has to make a living these days, especially after reopening a local business. Would love to visit again.
Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. The mac and cheese was rich and delicious and with the pork belly added some smokiness to break up the cheesiness. But the real star of the show was the Nachos one of the best Nachos I've had in a while and could have ordered 2. It's not the most over the top and complicated nachos but sometimes simple is better. The sweet pickled onions were the perfect companion to the cheese, crema, and pesto topping. I am knocking off one star as the service was a bit slow and surprised that the kitchen had no lemons for water which is a bit strange for a food place. Also the menu did mention that the mac and cheese had a panko and Parm crust but was surprised that it didn't have any. The additional texture would have really made the mac and cheese stand out even more.
I have been going here for years. I love to support my local breweries. Brothers staff was friendly and interesting to talk to. In the early year this place brewed some great beers. Traditional beers. I'm not sure what happened to this place but now when I walk in I feel like I'm bothering the staff. The staff is busy putting things away and cleaning and restocking. But there's nobody inside and the tables are already clean. You can stand at the bar for 15 minutes before someone stops to take your order. It was not busy inside and only a few table outside had people. The beers are all weird now but maybe that's what people want. Brothers still make some pretty delicious IPA's so I keep coming back.
Good prices, great vibe, for me beers were a hit or miss. They have some good off-beat flavors, so you really need to be a big bear lover to enjoy all the options. When in doubt, go with a flight, choose 4 and make sure to tell the server that you want different taste.
I really the brews from Two Brothers. The majority of beers I've had from their take out fridge have a distinct taste- I like it. I have been to their patio several times, and I really enjoy that they let you bring food from other restaurants downtown, or your own! They have great hours too. I started trying beer here because all other places were closed. But now I just come here. Beer is a bit expensive- but its on par with other craft bottle shops.
Great beer, friendly service, good atmosphere. We brought our own food which wasn't a problem.
Love this patio, great beers, great workshops! The otherwise Lino workshop here was one of the best nights of my past few years!
