The desserts here are amazingly fresh and reliably delicious. The staff is friendly and happy to suggest good coffee and meal pairings. There’s a homey feel to the whole store and make a relaxed shopping experience.
I'm visiting from out of town and had a craving for something fresh and Italian. The service is fast and friendly. They have a nice little patio outside if you feel like enjoying the weather while munching on your goodies. They have a huge selection of ready to eat hot food as well as a ton of pastries. I haven't tried the cupcakes yet but the pizza's very good! The parking is a little annoying other then that a fabulous place
I love stopping in early, when they open on Saturdays, before the crowd. I get a latte and a cheese croissant, or a Sfogliatelle Amazing! and sit in the cafe to chat with a friend. Before I leave, I pick up fresh baked rolls, gnocchi, cheese, and sauce for dinner. Like a short visit to Italy. The owners and most of their staff and incredibly friendly and welcoming. Prices are resonable and stock is great.
Brought my daughter here for her birthday. She wanted one of everything. Also got 2 amazing stuffed meatballs. Great food and dessert! Super friendly staff! It's a must try!
Honestly quite surprised to be writing this review considering how high the ratings are. Maybe just the selection my husband chose based on recommendations from the bakery. Flavour was lacking — just sickly sweet.
Excellent sandwiches from the deli here. Showed up as they were closing, which we did not realize. They still made us sandwiches and let us scarf them down in restaurant without complaint. Quality was great. Will definitely return for another sandwich when in the area not so close to closing time!
If you have never been, you must! A feast for all your senses. A wonderful variety of products and don't miss out on their beautiful and delicious baked goods. The counter is a treat to behold. The service is efficient and so friendly.
Love the hot counter and the delicious treats. Occasionally, we've also shopped the grocery section if we've needed something. Such a well rounded place! Everything in one spot. Love it.
Always love visiting here. Great bread and only spot I've found buratta. Baked goods are also great. Service is wonderful. 10/10 recommend
Nice products. The hot table is basic. I guess for Barrie standards you can call it Italian food, however being Italian this isn't st8 mangia cake cooking. Super skimpy veal sandwiches. Sauce is curdeled with too much oil. LOL I've also never seen a bakery that you can't grab your bread and buns and leave. You have to wait for someone to serve you your bread and when they see you standing there waiting they turn their head and pretend they don't see you. The cannoli's are AMAZING, they must buy them from elsewhere. The staff seems to be un happy and grumpy and it feels like your disturbing them when you just want to pay and leave.
