We recently visited The Irish Harp Pub for lunch and found it to be a pleasant spot, though with some highs and lows. The atmosphere was inviting, and it wasn’t too crowded, which made for a comfortable dining experience.nnWe ordered a variety of dishes, including burgers, a fried chicken sandwich, French onion soup, garden salad, Caesar salad, and garlic bread. The burgers and fried chicken sandwich were both tasty and well-cooked, meeting our expectations for pub fare. The salads and garlic bread were also enjoyable, adding a fresh and flavorful touch to the meal.nnHowever, the French onion soup was a disappointment. As a fan of this type of soup, I found it far too sweet, unlike any I've had before. The sweetness overwhelmed the dish, and I could only manage to eat the cheese on top. It's a shame because French onion soup is usually a highlight for me.nnFinally, the service was average, not particularly memorable but not lacking either. I would say the food quality is generally acceptable, but there is room for improvement in certain areas.
Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. The food was really good, and the theming inside is nice. I chose to sit out on the patio to enjoy the perfect October weather, and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was; the area is located along a side street with trees and flowers.nnWe had a great experience with our server, and I wish I could remember her name. She told us she had only been working there for a few weeks. It was my first visit, and I’ll definitely be back the next time I am at Niagara-on-the-Lake.
We had a wonderful time at The Irish Harp Pub in Niagara-on-the-Lake. On our first visit, we had trouble finding a dog-friendly patio when someone mentioned that The Irish Harp welcomes dogs. We went there and had a great time with our furry friend. The nachos were fantastic – freshly made with real potato chips, super crispy and delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for dinner in the main dining room the following weekend. The beef stew and mussels were excellent, and the desserts were terrific. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area!
We had lunch here during our trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Our group of four ordered a variety of items: Fish and Chips, Signature Burger with salad, Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries, and St. Pat's Irish Stew. The food was decent and freshly cooked, and we enjoyed our meal. The overall ambiance was also pleasant.nnAlthough they have a patio, we found the indoor seating to be more comfortable. The patio, located behind the restaurant, was crowded and a bit stinky, which made the indoor seating a better option for us.
Fun place to visit! Classic Irish pub feel. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. The menu selection is a variety, so there's something for everyone. If I had more time and wasn't here for a day trip, I'd have gotten a whiskey flight.nnGlad we chose to come here for lunch... Definitely worth the stop!
