Treadwell Farm to Table Cuisine

Wow, what an amazing experience! On top of the food at Treadwell being stunning, we had a great time sitting at the bar and watching the cook staff work their magic in their open kitchen. We didn't even talk, we just watched the show. So much fun. The wait staff was also excellent! A must visit if you're at Niagara on the Lake.

My wife and I live in Mississauga but every single time we have dined at Treadwell for lunch or dinner, it has been an astonishing experience with delectable fresh food, flavours that come alive and quality that has no other compare. Positives: - Interact with the Chefs - Choose the Kitchen Bar to get a whole view of the kitchen. - Farm to Table - All locally sourced food and prepared right in front of you - An allergen's delight! - Everything controlled and prepared allows them a great deal of ability to meet any allergies / intolerance. - Great service without being overwhelming Negative: - Price This is a must visit and a place we will continue going to as much as we can!

I'm from Southern California where "self-proclaimed" farm to table restaurants are on nearly every corner, Treadwell beats them all! It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a meal this much. I just stumbled on this place and sat at the bar next to the kitchen. The whole staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I took one of the chefs recommendations and wasn't disappointed -- bone marrow and tuna tartare appetizer and the pork loin and pork belly entree topped off with a local beer. Heaven! If you're in the area, this place is a must! Heck, if you're in Buffalo, NY, make the trip over the border, you won't be disappointed!

Sat at the counter on a busy Sunday evening. Great atmosphere and fascinating to see the kitchen in operation. The food was imaginative with interesting pairings on the menu such as marrow and tuna. Our charcuterie board starter was wonderful - varied and delicious. We had beef short ribs and the haddock for main course. They were both cooked well. This is a top end restaurant option (our bill for two with a bottle of wine and three courses was $200) and I think it's fair to say I've had more 'blow your socks off' food for that money in other restaurants but don't let that put you off. This is a great destination for a treat and the welcome was genuine and warm.

Had a fantastic meal here with family last Wednesday. Food was better than most restaurants we've tried in Toronto, and the servers were extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Can't wait to return.
