The Inn on Officers Garden

We held a Celebration of Life for my grandmother at the Inn on Officer’s Garden. The planning was seamless with the help of the wonderful Jennifer!, and our event went perfectly. The staff were attentive and kind, and made a point to make special mention of their condolences. Food and drink was delicious, and the kitchen and service staff go above and beyond Moira and Paolo were amazing!. Parking is easy and accessible; we had quite a few elderly guests and they didn’t have a problem. Beautiful spot and a hidden gem! Looking forward to holding future events here and working with the wonderful staff again.

Visited the Inn with some colleagues for a lunch. Had an incredible experience. Everything from the food, the service Kristin was really going above and beyond, the tasteful decorum, and retention of the building's historical significance combined with modern improvements. The owners and management have done a tremendous job with this building. The Inn's variety of offerings for diners and guests make it unique for the area, especially those looking for a high class experience. Would highly recommend for a casual or business lunch.

Three of us had a lovely birthday lunch today. Tables are nicely spaced apart. We were pleasantly surprised by brunch items so we enjoyed Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and Spinach Mushroom Frittata. The aroma of nearby diners' pizza lured us to also order the mushroom pizza with Truffle Oil. Chewy crusty Dough. Best pizza ever. Then the dessert of peaches and cream cheesecake made the birthday girl very happy.

We had our wedding here in September 2022, and couldn't have asked for a better venue. The space is nice, the food is great, and the new management team stepped up the quality in the final months before our event. We had a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on the grounds of the Inn - starting in the gardens before moving indoors. The Inn helped all of our vendors throughout the day, and the staff all made our guests feel comfortable.

This accommodation is absolutely delightful. Possibly the cleanest, neatest place we've ever stayed. It is wonderful, from checkin, decor, staff, dining, patio etc. The rooms, however interesting and clean. It should be noted, the rooms are not like "normal" hotel room layout. There is virtually no place to lay things out, other than a night stand. There's a closet, a couple of drawer cabinets, a glass enclosure for the shower and toilet alike. They do their job well, but you must be very comfortable with your room mate, as there is zero space for privacy, other than shower and toilet enclosures. The only way to view your 24" TV is to lay on the bed, as it is mounted on the ceiling. Having said all of the above, I would still very highly recommend staying here, since it more than makes up for the space issue's in charm, historic education, quality, cleanliness, friendliness and overall value for the quality you're receiving. I had my wedding reception here on July 23, 2022 and it was amazing! We were worried at first as they replaced the 2 managers very close to our wedding date but the new management is wonderful and they did an incredible job at making sure everything was taken care of. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! We had the banquet hall, atrium and patio reserved for our event which gave our guests plenty of spaces to go to around the venue. Special thanks to Antoun and his team for going above and beyond!

My wife and I visited and had a wonderful experience. Had the beef tartare and the surf and turf platter. The platter could have had a little more surf as it had a large chicken breast, tenderloin beef and 5 scallops on a skewer along with all the additional items. That being said it was pretty delicious. The wine was fantastic and their desserts were amazing. Will be going again.

We had a wedding there back in Aug. The new managment really step in to relieve all the stress/issues we had with the previous coordinators. Venue is beautiful and the food served at the reception was amazing! All my guests were so complimentary of everything and had a great time. I left one star off due to the vendors they recommended- we were trying to make planning as easy as possible so we went with Marlow flowers they are connected with the inn. I would NOT recommend this vendor, poor service, rude and completely disregarded what I asked for. My wedding Bouquet was close to $400 and it was nothing like I was promised. I tried to resolve this issue with the owner and she was rude and dismissive. Please don’t use MARLOW for your wedding flowers. She also has an out dating style, doesn’t understand trends or consumers needs- not to mention over charges for the quality. Second-if you can avoid using the inn house baker for your cake please do. I told them exactly what I wanted and to my disappointment they baked something totally different. It was so hideous I had to laugh. I tried to get to the bottom of what happened but they refused to write me back or provide a phone number. I didn’t want a refund I literally just wanted to know what happened. The taste was also awful- I do not recommend their in house baker. Other than that everything was great!

We reserved and paid in advance for your anniversary dinner on 6 October. We were 8 in number. We were seated not in the dining room but in a narrow barren and noisy hallway. The tables were cheap cafeteria style and wobbly. Likewise the chairs. There were no table cloths and one set of paper napkins was dirty from a previous guest. Because of the narrow hallway, the wait staff could not properly place the dinner servings without having to lean over guests on the other side of the table. It had all the ambience of a high school lunch room. In short, we were disappointed and will not recommend your establishment. We expected better.

What a wonderful gem of a place. Lovely setting, great food, terrific service, decent prices. And the gardens themselves make for a beautiful little oasis in the middle of the city. Really, it makes for a great place to go. I try to bring people here to introduce them to the place, hoping to spread the word.
