Donegal Irish Pub

Great wine list that they happen to be clearing out. So half price wine Thursdays is a must. I had a sort of cheese steak option with cheddar and broccoli soup. It was great. Their new menu items are awesome. Our server was fantastic.

Not a bad spot for a pint and a bite, easy access to transit on top of that. Been here several times, I actually like it more since it's changed hands; the prices are more reasonable, and the food is better. That said, service is a bit of an issue. Servers are friendly but they seem a bit understaffed at times. As well they tend to run out of certain local beers often. The nachos are huge and decent value though. I'll return.

My girlfriend and I stopped coming months ago because service sucked bad and food was just ok. We decided to come in for dinner tonight after hearing about new ownership from friends. Wow, what a difference! Service way better, and food was very good. Just a really positive vibe in the place to go with the incredible decor. Carol was awesome and so helpful. You can tell she really enjoys being there. Definitely coming back and bringing friends. I hope they can keep it going because there is no place as pretty as this pub in the SW, or Calgary for that matter.

Yeah, for a "group of" kinda place, it was fine. Service was friendly, if not exactly prompt. The food was tasty enough. The beer selection was delightful, and some of the menu items illustrated a particular creativity among the run and rut of your standard pub fare. A solid three.

First time here and the staff are very friendly. The food is debatable however. Ordered a steak well done, yes well done ha and it was medium at most. Sent it back and it was perfectly cooked the second time, but by the time I got it my partner was already done eating. The steak was also very, very bad. Whatever you do do not order it!! I imagine other items are great though.

The atmosphere is great. Tons to look at! The floor tiles are beautiful. They had lots of TV's and played a variety of channels. They were however very short staffed and so the service was not good at all. The wings were really good. However I was disappointed they used very thin white bread for my club house sandwich, and put a fried egg on it. It was lunch time so, not sure why they put an egg on it. It wasnt the best.

The decor in this pub is great, gives it a very classic look, but not a cheap one. It feels like the owners care and take care of the look of the place. I only tried the wings, and they were quite good, with a different hot sauce then your normally get.

Great authentic Irish pub! Lots of beer options on tap as well as Mead! Service was very good and the food was awesome. Mini yorkies are wicked. Had the brisket dip and would order again. Mac and cheese was great too! Great spot!

Can I give it a 0 star, like a negative 20. Terrible service and cops were called for NO REASON on our small party when we went to eat there. We did nothing wrong but staff felt they were disrespected by us. Our food took hours to come out, cold, wrong food, then some random bartender came in and told us they closed at midnight and we have to leave. She then yelled towards us saying all our food is comped and said goodbye. We then were yelled at by another staff and told we were threatening to them and not willing to pay the bill. Then 3 cop cars showed up- 3 cars really?!?! Apauled by how staff treated us. Wow you guys need to fix your service, like you all are impressive in your lack of ability to run a restaurant!!
