Bankview Public House

It's better than you'd think but exactly what you'd think from the look of outside. There's a pool table and vlts. The crowd is much older and mostly tradesmen. But a drink is a drink. If you're near the pub and want a drink this will do. We had wings and nachos and they were alright.

Megan and Julienne are great servers and made our visit memorable. Good fish n chips and house made coleslaw. Warm friendly atmosphere and fun. I'll be visiting again really soon.

Great consistency with the food and service. I highly recommend it. For food or drinks, I prefer eating there during the day when it's quieter but it's definitely live at night or on the weekends

A genuinely good down to earth neighbourhood pub with no gimmicks. Just good staff, food and ambience. Nothing fancy and doesn't pretend to be.

Over a year ago was there, good chicken fingers but space felt a little squeezed, the server and bartender made up for it by being very gracious and professional. Too bad it's closed.

If i could give more stars I would. Amazing fish and chips. Awesome service and very caring management.

Unassuming, hospitable, and above all; not far from my house. BPH is a fine spot to catch the game, enjoy libations with the people closest to you, or just go solo late at night to get destroyed and then make objectively bad life decisions. Great staff, very clean washrooms, VLTs and a jukebox! BPH is the place. To. Be.

No parking, not great service and so-so food at not a great price.
