Jamesons 17th Ave is a popular, modern, Celtic themed pub located in the bustling retail & entertainment district of uptown 17th Ave S.W. Hungry? Been here a few times. The beer is cold. The food is great. Service is fantastic. Good happy hour menu too. Definitely recommend the calamari, suicide wings if you like spice and the pizza is pretty good too. Only complaint would be the music sometimes. Sometimes way too loud and "rappy". I will just never get used to that in an "Irish" pub. Especially mid day.
My family and I came here today for the first time. Sunday Once we found out kids allowed, football and half priced wings we were sold !!!! We were greeted rite away by a few staff members. We really appreciated we were asked what football game we would like on !!!! We got drinks rite away, then ordered wings . Mayple hot, a Carolina tangy one, honey garlic and dill pickle. They were all really good, the only thing is for us the Carolina one had a lot of tangy flavor it's really good if you alternate flavors. I don't think I could eat a plate of only those. Other then that the wings were actually really good, good size cooked great the skin was still crispy! We sampled there house beer , it was delicious I definitely recommend it !! We look forward to coming back.
Wings were amazing and so was the nachos. That beer that was on special was one of the tastiest I've ever tried... Reminded me of radler a bit. Wither way... Wednesday night, Jameson's is the spot to be!
Amazing food, incredible service and good vibes, what more can you ask for? I am vegan with a gluten allergy so I had the veggie burger with a side salad and it was delicious! The portions wqere huge and the salad was plentiful. This indeed will be my new local.
Decent atmosphere. Good service. Wings were good but calamari was exceptional. Very tasty pizza as well. Overall, better food than most pubs.
Went in for a late night food and drinks. Got the Philly cheesesteak and fish tacos and both were good. The place is a little worn down, they could use a renovation. Service was decent, although nothing above and beyond. Having said that I’d come back again at this place so there’s that.
Went to this location for the first time on the weekend, I was not disappointed. Happy hour specials made it a bargain compared to most places nearby and the food wasn't bad either. Will come back again. Great service too!
Has fish tacos and long Island iced tea. Food was good but I was expecting the tacos to come with a lime on the side. I wasn't expecting it to be a ufc night which made the place super loud. Would I go back? Maybe during a more chill time for afternoon lunch.
Went to meet a friend and found this to be a great pub on 17th ave sw. Food was very good with huge portions and the staff very friendly.
Great downtown pub. Service was decent. We had a couple of appy’s and a variety of drinks. All good. It was busy! Maybe because UFC was on and the crowd went wild!! Both male and female fighting. Who knew? And I thought they were loud for hockey games lol.
