I hadn't been there for awhile and service sucked that day ...or rather, there was no service. I have been to the Home Depot's in the South End and they have some awesome staff who are npt only welcoming but also with actual hands on experience or training, not just reading from a website or scanner. Only on one or two occasions in the past have I experienced awesome and knowledgeable service at the St. James location.
Marsha was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and very helpful with our purchase of a Maytag washing machine. She went above and beyond to get us the best price possible. She offered us excellent customer service. Home Depot should be very proud to have an excellent employee like Marsha.
Not shopping here any more. I don't like self checkout. There's no option to go through a lane with a cashier. I fully realize there is nothing I can do and nobody here cares at all so, I will return to the many other hardware stores that provide customer service.
Rude, short Indian employee doesn’t wear glasses was trying to power-trip in the flooring department. We wanted a specific type of flooring and he was not listening and thinking he knew everything. He said our selection of flooring was inferior to what he thought was better. Talk about crossing boundaries. He should not be allowed to talk to customers like this.nnHe was so unhelpful that we left the store and went to another Home Depot store. Overall, this is a smaller home depot store so it might be limited in supply.
I wanted to share my experience a few weeks back nearly 3 weeks ago we bought some paint. The employee showed how to open no big deal cool. Closes it however while closing seemed it was not clicked asked 3 x are you sure! Yes I have been doing this for years blah blah blah. OK we leave. First turn we take boom small paint can falls just a 45 degree angle guess what. As you can see in pictures the back of the tail gate the inside of the bed in corner filled. Spoke to a manager who wanted to go through insurance ok should've cleaned right there!! Now it's been 3 weeks got multiple emails from some 3rd party liability with a unique name won't post here. How ever I won't deal with someone out of this province are why are you dealing with 3rd party out of province. Guy is from far east coast dealing with this wants pictures my name info license etc. With the nonsense scams going around I spoke to the manager at Home Depot. Politely why didn't you clean it here! You sell towels you sell cleaning products. 1 Hour you could've cleaned while still wet. Now it will stain, the groceries we had to buy while it was still wet got messed up. This is the Home depot for you! I hoped you would treat your customers better multi million operation could'nt afford 1 hour labour 1 bag of towels & some cleaning supplies. Will now cost me more than this. Thank you Home depot for treating your indigenous population with such poor manners.
