Story

This coffeehouse is a work of love, it's not just a business for me but a dream. I owned a previous bakery before and sold that a few years ago, always knowing I was going to do something similar again. October 2012, my Dad died suddenly, we were super close and it uprooted my entire life. Dad had just retired, started to enjoy the good life, coffeehouses were part of his daily routines, he went a couple times a day, enjoyed a double Americano. He loved it and when I would visit, it is how we spent a lot of our time together...it was a perfect place to catch up and spend some time with my dad.
So, when I started thinking about opening another bakery, I thought, why not combine one of my great passions with one of my dads, and so The Grounds Coffeehouse was born. It's a way for me to honor my dad, and to do something I truly love! I know he would thoroughly enjoy this place, and be proud of what I've accomplished!
