The Frying Irishman

My order took over two a half hours and that’s before the driver even had received the food so it was not the drivers fault. The chicken is bone dry and seems like it was bought from no frills. The fries were under cooked which is surprising because they had two and a half hours to cook them. This order was placed on Sunday the 29th in the evening. I would blame it on the staff but the quality of the chicken is poor the fact that it was poorly cooked just adds insult to injury.

Having grown up in Essex, England, i can verify these are very authentic british/irish chips. Definitely a nostalgic taste of home, I’m sure i’ll be back and educating my kids on what proper chips taste like! Thanks!

Went out of my way to go there in person as their reviews for delivery apps Uber, etc. aren't great. Wouldn't let me order via their site, didn't pick up the phone when I tried to call ahead of time, when I arrive the Mexican place said I had to go back outside and order from the doorbell and that there is a 50-60 minute wait. For chips. Literally couldn't have done more to try and support this business based on the reviews. Wouldn't try again. The guiding me back outside without taking my order was the icing on the cake. Good luck placing an order. Sincerely. Update: they also went on social media to shame Irish people who left without paying. While I agree it's disrespectful and bad, to go on an Irish group and post negativity about the Irish is also bad. This place cracks me up. Fair play to them for actually getting their food is what I say!

haven’t been home in nearly 4 years since i first left for Vancouver. So i was very excited to try this place and it absolutely delivered, the food was unreal! the taste of home can’t be beaten and i’m so happy we have this here, everybody get down and support an irish run business. You’s have come out here like all of us and done something most wouldn’t, fairplay to you all - I hope one day we can sit in somewhere with a pint and dig in to this chipper! Will absolutely be back :

This is Ireland in a box. Absolutely delicious and a fantastic take on an Irish Chipper. Highly recommend the garlic cheese chips. Great service and a very friendly team behind it all.

We went and picked up a large bag of chips and mini chicken balls. The chips were soo good tasted like home Ireland still craving them and thinking about them. Chicken balls were just nuggets but really tasty. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

Actual proper chips! Just like the chippy back home & This is the real deal. Anyone in need of a good British chip or Irish fry then this is it, no fish but all the best bits.

Got the snack box and it was unreal! I was craving one and I have tried a few places over the years here but this Put the “H” back into a shnack box for me Will be ordering again soon definitely

Amazing food, very traditional. Proper British and Irish style chips, the only place I've found in Vancouver to cook chips that way
