If I could give this place 4.5 stars, that would be it, but I rounded up. The burgers were pretty good, typical smash burger style, well seasoned and had a good sauce. The fries we a little lacking, not terrible or bad by any means, but not the best "premium fast food" fries I've had. The milkshake however was fantastic. It was rich, creamy, and didn't have that weird after taste that you typically have at fast food places that offer milkshakes ie. McD. The location was good, clean, and had a friendly staff which is more than I can say for some similar locations downtown. The price was fair and there were a lot of menu choices for everything. Lots of milk shake flavors, different styles of fries, and many pre-picked burger selections. Overall a great experience and I look forward to coming back to try something new.
I ordered route66 burger and there were too many bone pieces. Bit it about 6times. And I think the last one probably made small crack on my tooth. Taste good. Once or twice of bone pieces ok, But SIX times? Seriously? I wonder how you guys handle or get beef from. I would never go back. So Risky to my teeth.
Great Hamburgers! Especially like the Ultimate Cheeseburger...I added extra cheddar slices. Filling hamburger with tasty meat and slightly sweet bun. Little Pricey for fast food but worth the money, better than equally priced Fatburger, Five Guys and White Spot. Besides looking like a bathroom with all the white tilling, the food and presentation is worth the visit. Fries are not worth ordering , dry and chalky and frozen texture, but onion rings are good. Milkshake is good too. Gonna be a regular place for me!
The fast food at Johnny Rockets is solid. Great burgers and great side dish options. And of course they have the best shakes! However they get a 1 star review for the terrible and rude service with their micro aggressive and unprofessional customer service through unnecessary comments made to myself and partner. Will not be coming back to this location.
LOVED this place!! I would honestly go as far as saying they’re better than Five Guys. This location is still relatively new and so there aren’t many customers, unlike many other fast food chains and so it’s very convenient, quick and clean. The staff are also amazingly nice and the food is great. Their meals tasted gourmet and yummy. If one were to go here, I would definitely recommend The Rocket burger and the vanilla milkshake! It was super delicious : Will be returning for sure!
First off, for a fast food joint this place is amazing through and through. Price point is very reasonable. Combos cost $10 where as Carl’s Jr down the street is about $15. They have a Coca Cola Freestyle! The fries are not too salty and salt and pepper can be found right at your table! Very clean restaurant! Every table has a power outlet and includes USB outlets. The burgers were tasty. Juice was coming out. You could really tell they were fresh patties. My wife and I shared The Ultimate and The Smokehouse. We prefer our fries less cooked soft. They accommodated our request without any hesitation. Our food was brought to our table for us. After having a few bites, someone did a check back to see how we liked everything! We were so pleasantly surprised by this as check backs are getting more and more rare at sit down restaurants in Vancouver. If you’re in the mood for some delicious and good quality fast food, come check out this location!
For fast food, Johnny Rockets is a solid 5 stars. I have come here many times and it’s always consistent; Hamburgers are tasty with high quality ingredients being used and they are not sloppily made either like other places. When you order you receive a number and they deliver your food right your table, nicely presented in a basket. Service is always very friendly and the restaurant is very clean as well with a nice open atmosphere.They also have a Coke Freestyle machine here which is a selling point for me. Good place for lunch too.
As far as fast food restaurants go, Johnny Rockets is miles ahead. The first thing is the food is cooked fresh to order. The ingredients are clearly good quality and they deliver your order to your table hot. There is care and attention put to the assembly and presentation of the food. And it tastes great! Secondly, the restaurant itself is very clean, modern, well maintained. If you've been to Johnny Rockets in the US, forget what you know. The Canadian version is far, far superior. Friendly staff round out the experience. I can recommend the Smokehouse burger, which I had, and my partner loved his crispy chicken sandwich. Yum. We’ll be back for sure.
Very clean, quick service, cashiers are very nice, food comes to the table hot. Tables had been cleaned before I sat down which is a problem here in Vancouver. I would recommend others to try this location.
Decided to grab a milkshake from this place, ya know because it's one of their highlights on their windows. Sad sad sad excuse for a orange dreamsicle. I don't think there was any flavor as all. Took almost 15 minutes to get it as well, presentation was very poor, I grabbed my shake and didn't notice that there was a huge amount still on the side of the shake cup, thanks for adding to the disappointment.
