The Fry

Pretty good place overall as the inside seating area could use some work but the food somewhat made up for it. The Chicken was very good overall so no complaints there and both boneless and bone in versions were great but the bone in is a bit better. The Half Half options were good as it allows you to choose 2 flavours. All sauces were nice and even the plain no sauce original was awesome too. The pricing was actually pretty decent as well for what you get too so I’m sure we’ll try them out again one day eventually.

The chicken was really good. We got bone in chicken in spicy sauce which had a great and unique flavour and we got soy garlic boneless chicken. The boneless chicken was much better texture wise. The only con is the food and service did take long as they only had 1 server. Poor girl did not catch a break. Would definitely go again!

Finally The Fry in Scarborough!! We ordered their new menu Supreme chicken and Rose rice cake. They’re amazing. Crispy and juicy at the same time. Their dish is good for sharing it was a lot. Will finish it tom

This The Fry location can be found in the plaza with a race trac gas station. The plaza has limited parking spots in the front, a bit on the side and some behind. There is also a neighbouring plaza with more spots as well. The menu features quite a few flavours of fired chicken in small and large, with large feeling like an entire chicken. Menu could be found by the QR code on the table. The fried chicken was on point, crispy and not greasy. The sauced chicken was flavourful and not too sweet either. The fries were too sweet, which was unfortunate because the fries itself were quite good. Food came with some complimentary side dishes and those were refreshing, especially the radish which was a nice contrast to the fried food. Service was quick, attentive and friendly. Only other thing of note was that the floors felt a bit sticky when I walked in Parking: Limited spots in front of the plaza with more spots in the back and the plaza beside

Good spot to eat with friends, or alone! The chicken was cooked well, very crispy. I got the combo 2: half and half with rose rice cake, and spicy cheese fries. Would come again!

Finally! There is another branch located in Sheppard/ Birchmount where the gasoline station plaza is. We were just driving when we saw it. Their chicken dishes are must-tries. We had dinner here and got their Combo 1, 1- 1/2 different flavours and fries for $42.98 + taxes, drinks are separate. We ordered half- soy garlic, and half- original. If you pay cash, you get 10% off, but they also accept cards. They're open until 12am which is amazing to those who work late or have late cravings. There were only 2 of us, that combo can be shared with 3-4 people depending on how hungry you are. They have some tables, so you may wait if they're packed, which is the case when we went there at around 9pm. You can place your order ahead of time while waiting. They were fast in serving our orders. The place is clean and looks cute. No worries about the parking lot as they have a lot. Will be coming back for sure. Thank you for opening another store. Parking: There are 2 plazas beside each other so there's no problem looking for a spot.

The Customer service was excellent, first time trying Korean Fried Chicken in dining setting.. so fresh.. we ordered two different styles BBQ and Spicy.. both excellent.. the Spicy packed a punch... Be warned. We were giving a free app corn dish. The powdered cheese fries was also fantastic. The place serves water in these Korean water bottles that they hold inside the fridge.. we were quite impressed by this. Definitely going to be back when I am in the area!

Randomly found this place and decided to try it. Great service and great food….hunger and craving satisfied! Would highly recommended and definitely would return again

This is my first time in this branch with my girlfriend. We ordered Combo 3 from their signature combo menu. The price was reasonable, and the portion was large. The boneless green onion chicken was delicious! It came with spicy rice cake, which I also liked but found too spicy, and also with corn with cheese.Food: 5/5

First time ordering food here today. The employee was very friendly. We ordered half & half original & spicy. She kindly offered to put spicy sauce on the side. Taste-wise, it was a solid 3/5. Batter was on the salty side and wasn't as savoury as other K-fried chickens. The pickled radish also lacks sweetness, so it wasn't my favourite either. I would give this place 3 stars but gave an extra 1 star because of their customer service. Unfortunately will not return here as there are better competitors in town.
