Story

We're just your humble, neighborhood burger joint--with the best burgers in town! We use buns from Avenue Bread, pasture-raised beef, and house-made sauces. We have 12 rotating taps of craft beer, a full bar and craft cocktails (like boozy milkshakes)!!

Tuesdays-Give Back Tuesdays! We donate 10% of proceeds to local organizations. Check our Facebook every week for more details.

Wednesdays-Western Wednesdays! Happy Hour menu all day for college students who show their IDs (BTC/Whatcom welcome)

The Cheeseburgers are so good at the Filling Station that every time I'm there, I think about ordering something else from their enticing menu but always opt for the Thunderbird Burger. Avenue Bread owns the Filling Station, so the buns are fresh and tasty. But there's quality in everything: the expertly grilled natural beef patties, the freshness of all the fixings. The thick cut curly spuds are delicious and filling. I've also tried (with my burger) the Rumble Strips: breaded chicken tenders with the usual sauces. Again, they use high quality ingredients that you can immediately taste. There a great selection of local beers and ciders. And the staff are some of the friendliest and most professional in town.

Good burgers and great, thick cut French fries. Buns from Avenue Bread.  Good service - did a good job accommodating a large crowd (we'd made prior arrangements).  Service was very good - especially given the large crowd.  Hard surfaces means it's noisy (my only complaint).

Just enjoyed the best burger I can remember having! The Wrangler boasted copious amounts of pickles, bacon, and cheddar, had a perfectly toasted and sturdy bun, and a satisfying beef patty. The service was outstanding. Our server Drew knew how to work a crowd and suggested some of the finest house-made condiments we didn't even know we needed. Not one complaint from a group of six, 10/10, will do again!

Great food...fun atmosphere. Great service! Love this place. We even went here just after we got married with our small party. It was wonderful. Never disappointed.

I was so impressed with this place! The tachometer on the Jaguar was red-lined with flavor! Sven, Megan, and Johnny absolutely made the experience wonderful! Definitely try the build your own Bloody Mary station while you're there too! Clever decor, all around witty, friendly folks, and great food!
