Mambo Italiano Cafe

My friend and I had lunch at Mambo's. Really enjoyed their smoked fish sandwich. The price seemed reasonable. We sat in the back near the fountain where it was quieter. Unfortunately, the table was dirty and needed a good wipe down before seating us. We plan to return.

Very decent Italian food, fresh ingredients and dishes are flavorful, just not especially interesting or unique. The ambiance is quite nice, though a bit less enjoyable during busy periods - avoid weekend nights if you're seeking a quiet, romantic experience. We were quite pleased with the vegan options which were also tasty and well-prepared. A light, non-dairy dessert option such as a sorbet would be a perfect addition to the menu.

This place was terrible! The staff was highly inefficient and after all that the food sucked. Best part is I've never rated a place before I felt I really needed to warn about this one

Great location, service, and ambience, but just okay food. I've been here three times now, and have been continually underwhelmed by the food, especially the pasta (which I don't believe is made in house). That said, accounting for the atmosphere and service the restaurant overall is great and I would come back again because I'm sure they've got one dish that I'll end up loving!

Amazing service from very nice waitresses, delicious food (not cheap... but also not that expensive. Think $15-$20). Plus, the restaurant itself is beautiful; charming rooms with a lot of very nice art for sale on the walls. Perfect for a nice dinner out or a date.
